首爾柏悅一直是首爾頗負盛名的高級飯店之一，而且身為凱悅集團最頂級的柏悅（Park Hyatt）系列成員，讓人對這次入住期待很高。先講結論：完美到讓人捨不得離開！
The Park Hyatt Seoul has always been one of the most renowned luxury hotels in Seoul, and as the hotel belongs to the Park Hyatt brand, which is Hyatt's most luxurious brand, I really had extremely high expectations with this stay. And to put it shortly, it was so awesome I didn't want to leave.

首爾柏悅位於江南區，離著名的COEX Mall只有幾步之遙，交通算是非常方便。飯店的入口做得相當低調，但我很喜歡大塊的原石裝飾，不但展現出氣派，也很符合柏悅系列的風格。
The Park Hyatt Seoul is located in the Gangnam district, right next to the famous COEX Mall, and had easy access to the subway. The entrance was very low-key, but I really loved the gigantic stone decoration. It created a sense of slender while still kept in line with the Park Hyatt style.

一進入一樓的入口，就立刻有負責禮賓的人員前來歡迎，並接過我的行李，然後引導我到位於24樓的大廳辦理入住。在一樓的工作人員每一位都非常親切主動，在入住的期間內，每次進出大門，從來不用自己開門，就連電梯的按鈕都沒有自己按過。
Once I walked through the door, one of the welcome staff immediately welcomed me, took my bags, and guided me to the 24th floor lobby for check-in. All the staffs on the ground floor were extremely kind and proactively offering help. I never had to open the door, or even press the elevator button, for once during my stay.

柏悅系列的飯店都很喜歡將飯店大廳設在最高樓層，所以要到達客房的話，都需要先搭電梯到大廳，才能再轉搭到客房。
It seems to be a Park Hyatt norm to have hotel lobbies on the top floor, so you'd generally have to take the elevator to the top floor lobby, and then take another set of elevators down to your room.

大廳也設有「The Lounge」餐廳，可以在此欣賞江南區的都會景色。
The lobby also had a restaurant called "The Lounge," which has great views of the Gangnam area.

負責辦理入住的服務人員相當親切地歡迎我入住，然後確認我已經使用了鑽石會員的升等券，將房型升等為 Park Suite，然後還逐一向我解釋了鑽石會員在飯店的待遇。本來還主動要帶我到房間，但被我拒絕了，因為我一直都覺得沒有必要，而且過程中通常都會很尷尬。
The check-in staff was friendly and welcomed me, he then confirmed my upgrade to a Park Suite using one of my Diamond Suite Upgrades. Then he brought out a list and detailed all my Diamond member benefits at the hotel. He even offered to personally escort me to my room, though I declined as I usually find it unnecessary and quite awkward during the process.

再度搭乘電梯下樓後，就可以來到客房的樓層。走廊的裝潢相當樸實，但擺放了不少各式各樣的藝術品點綴。
So I took the elevator down to the guest room floor. The hallway had a simple decor though had quite a few pieces of art placed along the way.

而首爾柏悅真的沒有讓人有一絲一毫的失望，一開門就被客廳給震懾了。大片的木質牆面和地板，在搭配上一片接著一片的落地窗，整個房間非常明亮舒適。
And the Park Hyatt Seoul certainly did not disappoint. I was wowed by the living room the moment I opened the door. The wooden walls and floors, accompanied by large floor-to-ceiling windows, made the room very bright and comfortable.

臥室角落擺著一張躺椅，很適合白天坐在上面看書看電視。這張椅子也是我坐過最舒服的椅子之一了，甚至舒服到有點危險，因為一個不小心可能會就睡著了。
They had a lounge chair at the corner of the bedroom, which was perfect for reading and watching TV during the day. It was one of the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in, and dangerously comfortable might I say, since I could easily fall asleep in it.

床鋪雖然大但實際睡起來偏硬了些，不是我睡過最舒服的床。
The bed was large but a bit too hard for my taste, it was certainly not the most comfortable bed I've slept in.

Closet space in the Park Suites were huge, and had plenty of amenities. The other side of the closet was connected to the bathroom, so could be opened from the bathroom side as well.

All the amenities were neatly stored in a wooden box next to the sink, and were all nicely packaged. It may be slightly extravagant and certainly not environmentally friendly, but surely added a hightened sense of luxury.

And the shower had a wide range of features and controls, though none of them were clearly marked. I'd appreciate it if there were more clear signs.

浴缸的空間非常大，可以泡澡泡得很舒服，另外還有小電視可以看。
The bathtub was large, spacious, and comfortable to bath in. There's also a small TV so you can watch while taking a bath.

一般來說柏悅系列的飯店沒有行政樓層，自然也沒有酒廊可以使用。不過首爾柏悅仍然有安排鑽石會員可以在晚間六點到八點在「The Timber House」享用 Happy Hour，是很不錯的福利。
Usually Park Hyatt hotels don't have executive club floors, so naturally there weren't any lounges to use. Though the Park Hyatt Seoul still set up a happy hour for Diamond members at "The Timber House" from 6 to 8 pm, which was a really generous benefit.

The same applies to the decor of the restaurant. While it was slightly on the dark side, everything was nicely decorated.

從這裡就可以看到飯店房間在晚間從外面其實是一覽無疑，所以在房內記得要把窗簾拉上。
As you can see, the hotel rooms were basically exposed to the outside world, so do remember to keep the curtains closed.

回到房間之後發現桌上擺了飯店贈送的巧克力當作夜間點心，不過除此之外並沒有什麼其他開夜床的服務，是以一間奢華飯店來說，比較讓人覺得可惜的地方。
I returned to my room later finding a plate of complimentary chocolates as my nighttime snack. However, rather disappointingly, no additional turndown service was performed, which was a shame considering it was one of the best luxury hotels in town.

餐廳內還有數間包廂，看起來很舒服愜意，不過似乎是因為當天人不夠多的關係，所以並沒有開放。

Each guests could also choose two items from a separate menu. Since I had a two-night stay I had the chance to try out four items. They came in a nicely balanced portion so you wouldn't get too full having them with the buffet.

「Park Club」內則是健身房，空間很明亮而且設備也都很新很齊全，不僅提供瓶裝水也有耳機可以借用。另外在一般時間也有教練隨時提供服務跟協助。
Inside the "Park Club" was the gym. It was very brightly lit and had state of the art equipment. Amenities include bottled water and also headphones for lease. Trainers were also available during regular hours, offering assistance if required.

而最美的地方無疑是飯店的泳池，泳池雖然位於24樓，不過需由23樓的「Park Club」進入。
And the most stunning part was without doubt the pool. Even though the pool was located on the 24th floor, but it was only accessible from the 23rd floor "Park Club."

無邊際的泳池設計配上落地窗，氣氛真的很好。可惜因為同樣位於24樓，所以從大廳和「The Lounge」餐廳都可以看到泳池，實際使用起來可能會有點尷尬，也許這也是為什麼沒有人在使用的原因。
The infinity pool and floor-to-ceiling windows combined made it a really aesthetically pleasing space. Sadly since it was on the same floor as the lobby and "The Lounge" restaurant, it was also exposed to those places, making the pool rather awkward to actually swim in. Perhaps that's why nobody was actually using the pool when I visited.

說了這麼多讚美的話，也必須列出幾項缺點，首先套房沒有客用廁所、雙洗手台和書桌是比較可惜的地方，另外電源插座也比較不足。另外就是價格實在是偏貴，這次是使用 Points+Cash 才勉強入住，然後飯店內的食物價格也都偏高，在旁邊就有商場美食街的狀況下，很難吸引房客留在飯店內用餐。
不過在服務上首爾柏悅確實做得非常好，當然夜間的開床服務可以更完整一些，不過除此之外實在難以再挑剔些什麼。最讓我驚喜的是在餐廳報上房號之後，服務人員隨即改用我的名字稱呼，就是這些服務上的小細節，會讓人備感溫馨啊！
我在入住時收到的手寫歡迎卡上，寫著「Welcome to Park Hyatt Seoul, your private residence while in Seoul」，而首爾柏悅的服務，也確實讓人有回到家了的感覺。
After all these compliments, I feel obliged to also point out a few flaws of the hotel. First of all, there was no guest bathroom, double sinks, or desk in the suite, which was rather disappointing for a suite in a luxury hotel. Also, the suite was also seriously lacking sufficient and well-placed power outlets. I also consider the price to be extravagantly high as well. I only managed to stay using the Points+Cash option, as there was absolutely no way I'd pay the actual cash price. The price at all the hotel restaurants were also on the expensive side. And having a shopping mall with a large range of restaurants right next to the hotel certainly did not help to keep guests dining in the hotel.
Though the Park Hyatt Seoul really excelled in service. Of course, they could've done a bit more during turndown service, but other than that I had nothing else to criticize. What pleasantly surprised me most was after I gave my room number, the restaurant staff immediately started addressing me by name throughout the service. It's these small details in service that really impresses.
When I checked in, the hotel manager wrote on his hand-written welcome card "Welcome to Park Hyatt Seoul, your private residence while in Seoul." And the service I had received at the Park Hyatt Seoul certainly made it feel like home.
