馬來西亞航空這幾年常常都有各種促銷，有時候商務艙的票價還會比其他航空的經濟艙票價還低，很適合拿來衝英航或是澳航的會員等級。比較可惜的是馬航的航班時間，對於台北出發的旅客說並不是非常理想，要轉機的話常常會需要過夜。
Malaysia Airlines periodically offers some really good sales in recent years, and sometimes the price for business class could even be lower than what other competitors charge for economy, which made it perfect for those going for status with British Airways or Qantas. The only downside was that the flight schedule wasn't very ideal for those originating in Taipei, and would often require overnight transits.

出發當天準時在兩小時前抵達了桃園機場第一航廈，才發現因為颱風的關係航班延遲了兩小時。不過這時候報到櫃檯前已經有許多人在排隊了。
馬航在台北的地勤作業由華航代理，而整個秩序維持得並不是很好。商務艙的櫃檯不知道為什麼在處理團體客的報到，所以雖然商務艙隊伍完全沒人，還是等了好一陣子才輪到我。
On the day of my departure I made it to terminal 1 of Taipei Taoyuan Airport on time (two hours before departure), just to find out that the flight was delayed for about two hours due to typhoon in the nearby area. But there was already a line at check-in forming.
Malaysia's ground operations were contracted to China Airlines, and the lines were not actively monitored and kept in order. Somehow they were using the business class counter to process group travelers, so even though there was no one in front of me in the business class line, it still took some time before I was helped.

雖然馬航在台北的簽約貴賓室是華航貴賓室，不過同樣是寰宇一家會員，當然也就可以使用國泰貴賓室。而我對於國泰在台北的新貴賓室評價也比華航貴賓室好很多，所以當然是選擇國泰貴賓室囉。
Even though the designated lounge for Malaysia Airlines passengers was the China Airlines Lounge, passengers were still entitled to use the Cathay Pacific Lounge, as it was a oneworld lounge. And since the Cathay Pacific Lounge was the much more superior lounge in my opinion, it was the obvious choice.

國泰貴賓室的招牌「風味坊」會不定時更新菜單，這次造訪時菜單就略有更動，多了新竹貢丸米粉湯，可惜味道並沒有非常好，還是經典的牛肉麵跟雲吞麵比較好吃。
The Cathay Pacific signature "Noodle Bar" changes their menu from time to time, for this visit they were offering Hsinchu Vermicelli as the new special, but it didn't taste very well, I still preferred the classic Beef Noodle and Wonton Noodle.

當然來到國泰貴賓室也一定要到酒吧點一些特色飲料，像是台北貴賓室限定的珍珠奶茶，還有國泰特調「Cathay Delight」。
And of course I ordered some drinks at the bar as well, like the Taipei-only Pearl Milk Tea, and the signature "Cathay Delight," along with a few other cocktails.

既然班機延遲，就只好在貴賓室裡面慢慢休息了。剛好這時候旅客不多，就趁機多拍了一些貴賓室的照片。雖然來過了好幾次，但國泰新的貴賓室設計真的是讓人百看不厭。
Since my flight was delayed for so long I just relaxed in the lounge. It was also a relatively light afternoon for the lounge, so I took the opportunity to take some more pictures of the lounge as well. Even though I've already visited the lounge a few times, I really couldn't get tired of it.

班機原訂的起飛時間是下午三點，但一直到快四點半才準備登機。從貴賓室慢慢走到登機門，剛好開始開放登機，於是就不小心成為第一位登機的乘客，可以拍到全空的機艙。
The scheduled departure time was around 3pm, but they didn't announce that they were boarding until nearly 4:30pm. I walked from the lounge to the gate just in time for them to start boarding, so accidentally became the first to board.

馬航的區域線大多由單走道的 737-800 機型執飛，商務艙以2-2排列，共4排16個座位。比起其他航空公司的區域型商務艙（例如新航、長榮、國泰等等）相對來說比較沒有競爭力，但既然票價這麼便宜，好像也沒有什麼好抱怨的了。
Malaysia Airlines operates most of its regional flights with their single-aisle Boeing 737-800 fleet, with a total of 16 business class seats in 4 rows of 2-2. Compared to other airline's regional product (such as Singapore Airlines, EVA Air, and Cathay Pacific), it's not a competitive product. But considering how much I paid for this ticket, I had nothing to complain about.

雖然座位看起來很老舊，不過其實狀況維持得很不錯，大大的皮椅坐起來也算舒服。
While the seats looked ancient, they were actually kept in a really good condition, and these big leather seats were in fact comfortable to sit in.

枕頭和毛毯都已經擺好在座位上，可惜枕頭的狀況就沒有跟座位一樣維持得很好了。
Pillows and blankets were already placed at each seat, and sadly the conditions of the pillows weren't as good as the seats.

娛樂系統的控制器則是位在中間扶手的內側，其實放在這裡常常會不小心按到，並不是非常好的設計。
The IFE controls were located on the side of the center armrests, which wasn't a good location to put them because you'd often accidentally press some of the buttons.

另外中間扶手也有飲料架，只要拉出來就可以使用，在剛登機東西很多的時候很方便。
There's also a drink holder that could be pulled out from the center armrest, which was useful during boarding when you'll be given lots of stuff.

因為是單走道飛機的關係，所有乘客都會經過商務艙登機，空服員也還沒辦法提供服務，所以就趁這時候看看窗外的風景。如果會介意的話，其實也可以晚點登機。
Since it was a single-aisle plane and everyone had to board through business class, the flight attendants weren't able to provide any service immediately, so I just took the time to enjoy the view outside the window. If you'd be uncomfortable with everyone walking past you, you could always choose to board later.

等到大部份旅客登機完畢後，空服員就開始提供迎賓飲料，我選的是馬航的招牌紅芭樂汁。雖然稍微偏甜了一點，但真的很好喝。
After most of the passengers boarded service began, starting with welcome drinks. I chose the Malaysia Airlines signature pink guava juice. Even though it was slightly on the sweet side, it was sinfully good.

接著也提供冰毛巾消暑，馬航的冰毛巾還有香味，聞起來很舒服。
Then I was offered a cold towel. The towel was also scented and smelled really nice.

不久之後也就關門準備起飛，飛機後推後客艙調整成「Boeing Sky Interior」新配備的情境燈光，另外也開始播放安全示範影片。
Shortly after the cabin doors were closed and we were ready for take off. After pushback they adjusted the lights to the new mood lighting that was available with the new "Boeing Sky Interior," and started playing the safety demonstration video.

播完影片之後立刻就開啟了個人娛樂系統，沒有等到起飛之後才開啟。但我也沒有立刻開始使用，因為起飛時的景色太美了，讓人視線難以離開窗外。
After it was done they immediately turned on the IFE system, instead of waiting until after take-off, which I appreciate but did not use because the view during take-off was just stunning and I had my eyes glued to the window for the entire time.

馬航商務艙提供的耳機還算不錯，至少比日航商務艙的好很多。電影的選擇也很多，但其他選擇就比較少一些。
The headphones Malaysia Airlines offer weren't bad, at least better than what Japan Airlines provided in business class. The movie selection was pretty good as well, though the same could not be said about other categories.

接著就開始準備餐飲服務，首先座艙長會先逐一問候商務艙乘客並發放菜單。
Meal service started immediately after we reached altitude, starting with the purser greeting each passenger in business class and distributing menus.

接著空服員就會幫忙鋪上桌巾，還有提供飲料。這時候當然就要來杯香檳囉。
Then they'd put out tablecloths and offer pre-meal drinks, which in my case was champagne, as usual.

以四個多小時的航程來說，馬航商務艙的餐點不算是非常豐富，只有前菜、主菜、麵包、甜點跟水果，而且甜點跟水果是跟著托盤一起上的，並沒有在餐後才上。但還是老話一句，這樣的價位實在是沒什麼好抱怨的。
For a four-hour flight, Malaysia Airlines did not offer an extensive meal, the meal service only consisted of appetizers, main course, bread, dessert, and fruit. The dessert and fruit also came with the tray instead of being served after the meal. But again, I really had nothing to complain considering the price.

餐前先提供馬航的招牌沙嗲。不少人認為馬航的沙嗲比新航的還好吃，本來還有些半信半疑，但吃過之後我也發現確實如此。
Before the meal service, I was offered the signature satay. Many claimed that Malaysia Airlines had better satay than Singapore Airlines. At first I was a bit skeptical about this, but after I've actually tasted it I had to agree.

接著就上餐，令人訝異的是所有餐點都還附著保鮮膜跟蓋子，通常應該要在送餐前拿掉才是，這樣看起來有點不美觀。
Then the actual meal was delivered. What's surprising though, was that they kept the covers plastic wraps on each dish. I'd prefer that they remove them before delivering the meal as it really wasn't aesthetically pleasing.

水果的味道也很好（雖說水果也很難出錯就是了），甜點我沒有吃所以無法評論，但看起來並不是很美味的樣子。
The fruit also tasted great (it's hard to go wrong with fruit though). I didn't taste the dessert so won't comment on it, other than that it didn't look particularly appetizing.

空服員一直有在注意每一位乘客的用餐節奏，因為在我吃完前菜之後，沒多久就送上了主菜。主菜我選的是鮭魚，味道大概偏中上，沒有特別讓人驚艷。所有餐點裡最讓人印象深刻的，就是沙嗲跟紅芭樂汁了。
I could tell that the flight attendants were closely monitoring each passenger's pace, as the main course was delivered just shortly after I finished my appetizer. For the main course I chose to have the salmon, and while it tasted OK, it wasn't particularly memorable. The only highlights of the meal service were, without doubt, the satay and pink guava juice.

等到大家都吃飽之後，空服員也就調暗燈光讓大家休息。

這時候剛好去廁所逛逛，737-800的廁所雖然很小，不過馬航的配備還算充足，使用的是 Acca Kappa 的備品，另外也有提供牙刷跟梳子。
I took the time to visit the lavatory. While the lavatories in the 737-800s were tiny, Malaysia Airlines made it really well-equipped. The amenities were from Acca Kappa, and they also had toothbrushes and combs available.

這段航班的服務真的非常好，不只在餐點服務時會隨時注意乘客的需求，幫忙續杯等等。後來在大家休息時也會經常到客艙觀察狀況，看有沒有人需要任何東西。而且態度一直都非常友善親切，隨時帶著很真誠的笑容，是最讓我印象深刻的地方，也讓我第一次搭乘馬航就有很好的經驗，謝謝當天的空服員！
I must say that I was really impressed by the service on this flight. Not only did the flight attendants paid close attention to each passenger during meal service, constantly offered refills, etc. They'd also frequently walk through the cabin afterwards to check if anyone needed anything. They were always friendly, attentive, and had a genuine smile on their faces, and it really made an impression. For my first flight on Malaysia Airlines, they really made it a very pleasant flight, so I must give a big thank you to them for that.
