泰航慕尼黑-曼谷頭等艙(Thai Airways Royal First Class: Munich-Bangkok)

泰航的登機們距離德航頭等貴賓室並不遠,所以我也是等到通知登機之後才出發。不過還是第一個登機的頭等艙乘客,所以有一些時間可以盡情在機艙裡面拍照。

這段泰航可是使用配備全新頭等艙的 747-400 執飛,總共在機鼻的位置放了九個頭等艙座位。比起泰航自家 A380 的頭等艙,我覺得 747 的新頭等艙不只色調搭配更好,而且隱秘性也更高。如果要我選的話,我是會選搭 747 的。令人意外的是這段航程的盥洗包,居然是通常只有 A380 專屬的 Rimowa!雖然不知道是因為什麼原因,但賺到超美的 Rimowa 就很讓人開心!

The gate that Thai was using wasn't very far from Lufthansa's lounge, so I waited until boarding was called before I left the lounge. Yet I was still the first one in first class to board, so I had some free time to take as many photos of the cabin as I wanted.

This particular flight was operated by a 747-400 with Thai's new first class product, which has 9 first class seats in the nose of the plane. Compared to their own product aboard the A380, the 747 ones are actually more superior in terms of its decor and privacy. If I had to choose, I would prefer the new 747 product rather than the A380. What surprised me the most was that they provided Rimowa amenity kits, which was usually exclusively offered on board the A380. I had no idea how it got on to this flight, but it was a nice surprise.

自從新航的豪華套房體驗之後,頭等艙的登機流程也是已經相當熟悉了,迎賓飲料、菜單、睡衣等等一樣都沒有少,而且這次的空姐也非常友善,態度非常好。之前聽說泰航頭等艙常常都是比較「資深」的空服員負責,有時候態度也比較差一點,不過在這次經驗裡是完全沒有出現的。雖然是有比較上了年紀的空服員,不過也還是非常友善跟主動。

After my experience in Singapore Airlines Suites Class, I had become quite familiar with the boarding process in international first class. Pre-departure drinks, menus, and pajamas were all distributed, and I must say all the FAs were super nice and friendly. I heard stories about Thai more "senior" attendants in first class and their indifference, but that was not the case for my flight. I did have a couple of older FAs, but they were friendly and proactive throughout the flight.

起飛之後的晚餐依舊是由魚子醬打頭陣,而且還相當大方地讓乘客吃了兩份喔!後來的龍蝦前菜和魚肉主菜味道也都不錯,只是倒也沒什麼特別出色的地方。反而是甜點非常美味,雖然已經很飽,但還是忍不住把它給吃完了。

As usual, dinner service began with caviar, and second servings were generously offered to all passengers. The lobster appetizer and fish main course were good but nothing too spectacular though. On the other hand, the dessert was phenomenal, I couldn't help finishing it all despite being very full already.

吃飽之後,就請空服員幫我鋪床準備睡覺。除了把座椅躺平之外,他們還會另外加上一層床墊,所以感覺還是跟真的床非常相似,睡起來也非常舒服。

After meal service completed, I requested turn-down service. Aside from putting my seat flat, they would add another mattress pad on top of it, so I really felt like I was sleeping in a bed, and had a great and comfortable sleep.

我大約睡了三個小時之後才起床。為了體驗一下泰航的點心,所以點了一份湯麵試試看。本來期待真的不高,只想吃個幾口順便拍個照,沒想到湯麵非常好吃,一個不小心就吃個精光了。

I slept for roughly 3 hours before waking up. To sample Thai's mid-flight snack, I ordered some noodles just for the sake of trying them. I did not had high expectations at all, but this dish totally blew me away. It was so delicious I finished it within minutes.

吃飽之後決定去廁所拍拍照。747 的廁所相較之下就沒有 A380 來得寬敞跟豪華,不過在備品上都還是使用寶格麗的。

After the meal, I went to the lavatory to take some pictures. It was not as spacious and luxurious as the one on board the A380, but at least they still had the same Bulgari amenities.

大約在降落前兩小時開始早餐服務,比起德航商務艙的早餐,泰航可就繁複多了。除了麵包之外,一整盤的水果盤、麥片、優格都沒有少,主餐也是非常豐盛。不過如果之前有看新航的豪華套房體驗,就會發現泰航優格是直接給一整個包裝,不像是新航會另外用碗盛裝,也就還是看得出兩家服務的差異之處。

Breakfast was served about two hours before landing, and it had so much more than the one offered in Lufthansa business class. They served everything from bread, fruit plate, cereal, and yogurt. The main dish was also quite good. But if you've read my trip report on Singapore Airlines Suites Class, you'd notice that Thai served yogurt with the original package instead of using a separate bowl like SIA, so there were still minor differences between the service of these two airlines.

準備降落之前,所有負責頭等艙的空服員還會一起到每個乘客座位旁邊,「跪下來」謝謝你搭乘泰航,還詢問有沒有任何可以改善的地方。這樣的禮節還真的是讓人受寵若驚啊,感覺我才是應該跪下來謝謝他們如此用心的招待吧。

As we descend and prepare for landing, all the FAs serving first class would go to every passenger, knelt down, thank each passenger for flying with Thai, and ask if there were anything that needed improvement. That was way too overwhelming for me, I thought I should be the one kneeling down and thanking them for such a great service.

按照泰航頭等艙慣例,下機之後一樣有一整列的地勤人員和電動車等著接送頭等艙乘客通關或是轉機。也真的還好有人開車接送,不然曼谷機場這麼大,從這次停的登機門要到通關櫃檯,用走的話恐怕是要走上二十分鐘以上喔!

As all other Thai first class flights, there were an army of agents and buggies waiting to escort all first class passengers to immigration or transfers. I truly appreciated this service, because it would take more than 20 minutes if I had to walk from my gate all the way to immigration, considering how large Suvarnabhumi Airport is.
