因為聽說義大即將要在 2014 年和洲際集團解約自立品牌，所以趕快趁 2013 年底前，IHG 白金卡還可以用的時候入住看看。
可能因為接近週末入住的關係，當天下午大廳人滿為患，櫃檯前面也是擠滿了人。還好事先看過網友的入住記錄，知道可以在行政貴賓廳辦理入住，大約五分鐘就已經拿到房卡上樓了！
After I heard rumors that the Crowne Plaza in E-Da World is ending its contract with IHG, I had to book a stay before the end of 2013 while my platinum card still had some use here.
Since I was staying close to the weekends, the lobby was packed in the afternoon, with long lines in front of check-in. Luckily I've already read tons of other trip reports online, and knew that platinum members get to check-in in the lounge, so everything was completed in less than five minutes.

也多虧白金卡的關係，這次被升等到了景緻套房。雖然說臥室和客廳沒有完全分開，其實也不算是真正的套房，但我非常喜歡旁邊小和室的設計。此行因為有比較多人，有在和室加床，不然我相信平常和室會是一個很適合休息看電視的地方。
As a platinum member, I got upgraded to a Studio Suite. While it's not actually a "suite" per se (there weren't any sort of separation between the living room and the bedroom, I do love the little adjacent Japanese-style room. I had several other people staying together so we converted it into a second bedroom, or else I believe it would be a perfect place to lounge and watch TV.

景緻套房總共 18 坪，雖說實際坪數不算太大，不過使用上都還覺得很寬敞。房間中央就是三人座的大沙發，再加上旁邊的和室，在休憩空間是絕對足夠的。
The Studio Suite was about 60 square meters. While it wasn't especially large, I felt like there was plenty of room everywhere. There was a large sofa for three in the middle of the room. Along with the Japanese-style room, there would surely be plenty of room for lounging.

這次入住也感受到義大皇冠對於白金卡會員真的很大方，不止房內已經擺好迎賓水果，礦泉水一口氣給了八瓶，冰箱裡的飲料也是讓會員免費取用的。裡面的飲料其實不多，不過有這樣的心意比較重要～
It's worth noting that the Crowne Plaza Kaohsiung was really generous to platinum members. Not only was there a welcome fruit plate already waiting for me in my room, they also provided EIGHT bottles of water. Everything in the refrigerator were also free. Not that there's much in there, but it's the gesture that's most important.

對於臥室這次倒沒有什麼特別的評語，就是中規中矩的一張床，還有中規中矩的衣櫃而已。
I had no special comment regarding the bedroom, it's just a standard bed and a standard closet.

和室外面有一個小陽台，可以直接看到晚上會表演水舞的地方，不用特地跑到樓下人擠人才能觀賞。
There was a small balcony outside of the Japanese-style room, where we got to watch the evening fountain show without joining the crowd downstairs.

義大景緻套房的浴室很難讓人挑出什麼缺點了。不只浴缸非常大，乾濕分離也做得很好，而且還提供歐舒丹的備品。住完紐約的皇冠假日飯店，覺得這樣的浴室真是太豪華了！
I honestly did not have anything bad to say about this bathroom. The tub was huge and was separated very well from the rest of the bathroom. They also provided L'Occitane amenities! After my stay at the Crowne Plaza in New York, I really felt that this bathroom was an extreme luxury.

只要是行政樓層客房、套房，或是白金卡的房客，都可以免費使用行政貴賓廳。貴賓廳有提供下午茶、晚間 Happy Hour 還有早餐。可惜這次實際吃過一輪的感覺是只有早餐比較可以接受。下午茶和 Happy Hour 都差強人意，不只選擇少，而且補充的速度也很慢。像是晚上 Happy Hour 的酒類，四瓶裡面有兩瓶是空的，還要直接跟服務人員講才會拿出新的來。這樣的「Happy Hour」和服務實在是讓人失望。
All guests staying in Suites, Executive level rooms, or platinum guests got to use the Executive Lounge for free. The lounge offered afternoon tea, evening "Happy Hour," and breakfast. Sadly only the breakfast was mildly acceptable. Both the afternoon tea and "Happy Hour" were quite awful. There were very few selections, and they were really slow at replacing them. For example, two out of the four bottles of alcohol provided during "Happy Hour" were empty. I had to specifically ask for them before the staff brought out new bottles. It was a very disappointing "Happy Hour" and service.

現在義大已經退出洲際集團，本來就差強人意的服務品質想必又會再繼續下滑，而且又失去了會員待遇，所以我基本上是不會推薦大家再去入住了。除非是想要特地去義大世界玩，而且想要住近一點，不然高雄其實有更多更好的選擇。
Now that E-Da has left IHG, I'm sure the (already not-so-great) service would get even worse; and since there won't be anymore member benefits left, I do not recommend staying there anymore. Unless you're planning to visit the amusement park and want to stay nearby, there are so many better options in Kaohsiung.
