為了達成 IHG 在 2013 年底的 Big Win 挑戰，這次紐約行特地多住了幾間 IHG 的飯店。IHG 在紐約的飯店非常多，而且大多在入住前一到兩周都會有不錯的促銷價格，所以並不難找到還不錯又負擔得起的選擇。

到達飯店之後，因為房費已經在訂房時預付，所以辦理入住的過程十分迅速，不到五分鐘就已經完成。這間飯店雖然有給白金卡會員迎賓禮，不過只是一罐礦泉水而已。

To qualify for IHG's Big Win promotion in 2013, I decided to split my stays in New York and stay at a few IHG properties in the city. IHG had a really strong presence in New York, and most of them offer very good promotional rates about one or two weeks before the stay, so it wasn't hard to find good properties that were affordable.

Since I booked a prepaid rate, check-in was completed in five minutes after I got to the hotel. They also offered me my platinum welcome amenity, though it was just a bottle of water.

以假日飯店的標準來說，其實房間還算不錯，而且出乎意料地寬敞。這次雖然房間有被小升一等到 King Bed 大床房型，不過差別真的只是床稍微比較大一點而已，浴室並沒有跟著加大，還是非常非常小。

The room was actually pretty nice by Holiday Inn standards. I received an upgrade to a King Bed Deluxe Room, although the difference was really just the size of the bed, the bathroom was still REALLY small.

除此之外，這次入住沒出什麼狀況，但也沒有什麼特別值得一提之處。雖然白金卡會員也有提供免費早餐或是免費飲料。因為早餐只有麵包跟咖啡實在讓人提不起勁早起，所以我就選擇到酒吧點了一杯調酒用掉了。

隔天中午我也有到大廳酒吧吃午餐，可能因為中午人潮的關係，我點的三明治過了好一陣子才送到，不過口味倒是很不錯。

My stay was pretty uneventful though there was nothing to write home to as well. They did offer platinum members complimentary breakfast or a complimentary drink, but for breakfast I was only allowed to choose from a selection of bread and coffee, so I gave that up and used it to get a free cocktail at the bar. 

I did have lunch at the bar the next day. My sandwich took some time to arrive but it was very delicious.
