從曼谷瑞吉退房之後，我直接搭 Uber 前往曼谷蘇凡納布機場，Uber 從曼谷市區搭到機場是固定費率 300 泰銖，算是很合理的價錢。往機場的路上有點塞車，所以花了快要一小時才到機場。
After checking out of the St. Regis Bangkok, I took an Uber to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Uber had a flat fee of 300 Baht from Bangkok city area to BKK airport, which I thought was a very reasonable price. Unfortunately we ran into some traffic, so the ride took about an hour.

馬航每天都有許多班機往來曼谷跟吉隆坡，所以大多時間報到櫃檯都是開著的，而且商務艙櫃檯也完全不用排隊。
Malaysia Airlines had multiple flights a day between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, so most of the time the check-in counters were open, and there was no wait at all at the business class counters.

報到手續稍微花了一點時間，大約等了十分鐘左右才拿到登機證跟貴賓室邀請卡。除此之外，還會拿到一張優先安檢通道的使用券，有專屬的安檢跟出境通道，在曼谷機場（特別是尖峰時段）可以節省非常多時間。
Check-in itself took a bit of time to complete though, I had to wait for about ten minutes before getting my boarding passes and lounge invitation card. Other than that, they also gave out priority lane passes, allowing me to use the dedicated security and immigration line, which was a true time-saver in Bangkok airport (especially during rush hour).

馬航在曼谷使用的是合作的 Louis' Tavern 貴賓室，本身很普通所以沒有什麼特別的。這時候當然就要利用寰宇一家的福利，去使用其他航空公司貴賓室啦。而首選當然是剛改裝完成的國泰航空貴賓室囉。
Malaysia Airlines uses the contract lounge Louis' Tavern in Bangkok, which was mediocre at best. So it was a perfect time to use the Oneworld Alliance benefit and use the other airline lounges. First stop? the newly remodelled Cathay Pacific Lounge.

國泰貴賓室位在 Concourse G，裝潢和台北、東京羽田、香港玉衡堂一樣，都是屬於國泰新一代的貴賓室風格。不過因為配合國泰班機時間，每週有固定幾天貴賓室會比較早關門，建議要去之前先上國泰網站，確定一下貴賓室開放時間。
The Cathay Pacific Lounge is located at Concourse G, and has the same next-generation lounge decor as its counterparts in Taipei, Tokyo Haneda, Hong Kong (The Pier). However, the lounge operates according to Cathay Pacific's flight schedule, and closes early on a few days each week, so I'd suggest checking out their website to make sure that they are open before visiting.

剛進去時貴賓室的人非常多，幾乎是到了找不到位置的地步，不過沒有多久國泰航班起飛之後就清空了。
The lounge was packed when I got in, almost to the point that I was unable to find a seat, but then it soon cleared out after the Cathay Pacific flight departed.

一進貴賓室後，左手邊是「嚐味坊」，提供一些簡單的輕食，但大多數人不會選擇在這裡用餐，使用的客人很少。
On the left side of the lounge was the "Food Bar," which had some light bites available. However, it was deserted most of the time as it was not where most customers choose to eat in the lounge.

Cathay Pacific lounges often add a few local dishes to their lounge menu. For example, their lounge in Taipei had beef noodle soup. Here in Bangkok, it was Pad Thai and Tom kha gai soup noodle.

而為了好好體驗國泰的曼谷貴賓室，當然是要把餐點都點過一輪囉。實際吃過之後，我覺得曼谷的國泰貴賓室是目前餐飲做得最好的國泰商務貴賓室，每一樣食物都驚人地好吃，無一例外。特別是泰式炒河粉，好吃到讓我忍不住點了第二盤。
To fully experience the lounge, I just had to take one for the team and order (almost) everything on the menu. And I must say it was by far the best food experience in all of Cathay Pacific's business class lounges. Every single dish was exceptionally good, especially the Pad Thai, it was so good I just couldn't help myself but order a second one.

貴賓室中間則是酒吧，而這間貴賓室的好又再次在酒吧顯現出來了。當我點了一杯國泰特調「Cathay Delight」的時候，我本來以為他們只會向其他貴賓室一樣，拿出事先調好的倒給我。沒想到在這裡「Cathay Delight」居然是新鮮現打的！雖然因此多等了一些時間，不過絕對值得，新鮮的「Cathay Delight」真的好喝十倍。
In the middle of the lounge is the bar, and that's where I just have to compliment this lounge again. When I ordered the Cathay Pacific signature drink "Cathay Delight," I was expecting that they'd pour it from a pre-mixed bottle. To my surprise, they made one from scratch. I had to wait a bit longer than usual, but it was totally worth it, as the freshly-made one was infinitely better.

至於貴賓室本身，設計就和其他貴賓室一樣，就不再多加贅述。貴賓室也可以同時看到機場跟航廈內部，（以曼谷機場來說）算是不錯的景觀。
As for the lounge itself, it was pretty much identical to the other lounges, so I won't spend any more time complimenting it. The lounge had a view of the airport as well as the inside of the terminal, so it's quite a pleasant view (as far as views go in BKK airport).

和國泰貴賓室相比起來，日航貴賓室的裝潢就顯得乏味單調許多（但對於日航本來也就不用期待什麼太新潮的東西就是了）。
Compared to the Cathay Pacific Lounge, the Sakura Lounge's decor was just bland and uninteresting (not that I expected anything hip and trendy from Japan Airlines though).

貴賓室內的餐點就非常的日式，包括日航招牌咖哩、味噌湯、壽司、蕎麥麵等等，品質也還算不錯。
Food in the lounge was very "Japanese," including the JAL signature curry, miso soup, sushi, and soba noodles. All of them looked quite good, and everything I had was tasty.

當然和國泰貴賓室相比之下，日航貴賓室還是遜色不少。不過日航已經有整修了曼谷貴賓室，新貴賓室即將在2017年三月開放，很期待不久之後可以再次造訪，看看有什麼不同。
Of course, the lounge was still a step down from the Cathay Pacific Lounge, but the Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge had since gone through some renovation work, and will reopen in March 2017, so I'm looking forward to visiting again to check out the new lounge.

雖然上一班吉隆坡往曼谷的航班，讓我對馬航的印象非常差，但我願意相信只是個別機組員的問題，還是很期待這次的回程班機。至少這次班機準時開始登機了，算是不小的進步。而且又是新型的波音737-800商務艙，就比較讓人開心一點。
My previous flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok, to describe it in the nicest possible way, was nothing close to an acceptable standard, and left me with a very bad impression. However, I was willing to believe that was mainly due to the crew on that particular flight, so was still looking forward to my return flight. At least they started boarding on time, which was a first for me with Malaysia Airlines, and certainly a progress. I was also pleased to find that I had the new Boeing 737-800 business class seats once again.

坐定之後，空服員一樣提供了迎賓飲料。馬航在短程航班不提供酒類，所以只拿了水跟紅芭樂汁。
After I settled down the flight attendant came to offer welcome drinks. On short flights Malaysia Airlines do not offer alcoholic drinks, so I had some water and pink guava juice.

There weren't many people on this late flight, so we were ready to push back in no time. By then the safety video began to play, and the crew darkened the mood lighting in the cabin as well.

因為實際飛行時間只有不到兩小時，所以所有餐點直接用一個托盤上，也沒有另外逐一提供菜單給乘客。

吃飽之後，也就繼續躺下休息。雖然這款商務艙座椅只能稍微後傾一些，連斜躺都稱不上。不過座椅本身很軟，坐起來也還算舒服，很適合短暫休息。沒多久之後就準備降落了，中間還飛越了吉隆坡市區，剛好可以從高空中看到雙子星大樓。
After the meal I just had some more rest, as I've already had a long day. Even though the seat only had a rather limited recline and wasn't "flat" in any sense, it was well padded and comfortable to sit in. So I had no problem having a short rest. And soon enough we were on descent to Kuala Lumpur, and actually flew above the city, giving me a nice view of the Petronas Towers as we flew by.
