東京威斯汀位於JR山手線惠比壽站，緊鄰著目黑區的惠比壽花園廣場，是東京非常有歐美風情的地方。這次剛好在耶誕節前夕入住，路上更是充滿各種耶誕節的裝飾，夜景真的很美！

The Westin Tokyo is located near the JR Ebisu Station (Yamanote Line), and is right next to the Yebisu Garden Place, which is one of the famous "Western" areas in Tokyo. As my stay was right before Christmas, the area was filled with decorations and lightings, and was visually stunning at night.

而同樣位於惠比壽花園廣場，就在東京威斯汀對面的就是著名的 Chateau Restaurant Joel Robuchon，是米其林三星主廚 Joel Robuchon 在東京的旗艦店。如果有機會（也夠有錢）的話，還真想來朝聖一下啊...

The hotel is also right next to the famous Chateau Restaurant Joel Robuchon, which is Michelin chef Joel Robuchon's flagship property in Tokyo. I really look forward to visit there if I have the chance (and money, of course).

飯店大廳也非常應景，不只有非常大的耶誕樹，大廳各處也充滿各種不同的裝飾。

The hotel's lobby was also very festive, with a gigantic Christmas tree and many different decorations everywhere.

雖然我大概中午就已經到飯店了，不過相當幸運的是我的房間已經整理好了，而且還被升等到了角落的 Corner Deluxe Room，不只景觀比較好，還多了一塊小客廳的配置。在其他飯店，也許這已經可以算是一個 Junior Suite 了。

Even though I got to the hotel around noon, luckily my room was already ready, and I was told that I've been upgraded to a Corner Deluxe Room. Not only did it have a better view, there's also an extra "living area." If can easily pass as a Junior Suite at other hotels.

其實從飯店的公共空間，就可以看出這間飯店其實有點年紀了。不過每個區域都維持得非常乾淨，狀況也都非常好，給人的感覺是「古色古香」而不會覺得陳舊。

As you can see from the public areas, the hotel has a bit of "history." But they did a great job keeping everything clean and in good condition. So it only felt "classic" and not worn or past its prime.

東京威斯汀最大的亮點就是房間的大小了。即便是最基本的房型都有 42 平方公尺（約 13 坪大）在東京能有這麼大的空間，真的非常難得！

I think the best part about the Westin Tokyo was the room size. Even the standard rooms are 42 square meters large, which was huge in Tokyo.

關於 Corner Deluxe Room 的平面圖，可以看這裡。一進門之後，首先就是衣櫃跟 Mini Bar。裝潢就跟飯店其他地方一樣，雖然看得出年紀，但不會覺得老舊。

The layout of the Corner Deluxe Room can be found here. After entering the room, you'd pass through the closet and mini bar first. Just like the rest of the property, the room had a classic look but did not feel old at all.

再往裡面走就是小小的客廳，還有書桌跟電視。有這樣一個小客廳真的非常方便，不過電視擺放的位置有點怪怪的，要轉一下才有辦法坐在沙發上看就是了。

After that is the living area, along with a desk and television. I really loved the living area, and my only complaint was that the television was oddly placed. I had to turn it a bit before I can watch it from the sofa.

房間面對著惠比壽花園廣場，這天剛好看到一對新人搭乘馬車準備前往婚禮場地。

My room had a direct view of Yebisu Garden Place, and I happened to see a couple riding a carriage to their wedding.

臥室和客廳也都延續古典的歐式風格。床則是採用威斯汀的標準「天夢之床」。床旁邊還貼心地準備了非常大的梳妝台。

The decor of the living area and bedroom was also very classic European. And the bed, as with all other Westin properties, was the "Heavenly Bed." They even had a large vanity desk next to the bed, which I thought was a nice feature.

至於浴室雖然空間不大，不過也是該有的都有。不但有獨立的淋浴間，還有不小的浴缸，以東京飯店來說相當少見。整間浴室以大理石裝潢，更是顯得豪華氣派。

As for the bathroom, while it wasn't large, it had everything one would need. There's a separate shower room and a spacious bath tub, which is rare in Tokyo. The marble walls also added a sense of luxury to it.

但是比較讓人難以置信的是，飯店的馬桶居然不是日本飯店必備的免治馬桶！也許是因為飯店走歐式風格所以沒有安裝，但還真的沒想到會有日本的五星級飯店沒有免治馬桶呢！

However, I was utterly shocked to find out that they did not have those bidet-style toilets, which I thought was a must in Japan. Perhaps it's because this hotel was going for a more Western style, but I really did not expect that a 5-star hotel in Japan would not have a bidet-style toilet.

即便如此，再外面逛了一整天之後，晚上回到房間，換上日式浴衣跟拖鞋，好好泡個澡再享受惠比壽的夜景，真的很享受啊！

Putting that aside, after a long day roaming the streets of Tokyo, it's still a wonderful thing to return the hotel, put on my slippers and Yukata, have a nice bath and enjoy the beautiful view of Ebisu.
