喜達屋集團在米蘭的飯店不少，包括隸屬豪華精選（The Luxury Collection）的 Excelsior Hotel Gallia，還有福朋喜來登、威斯汀，以及在市區跟機場的兩間喜來登。這次入住期間剛好也是米蘭世博的舉辦期間，所以多數的飯店價格都很高，相對之下喜來登是最划算的選擇，地點又好，不論是搭火車或是地鐵都很方便（飯店鄰近火車及地鐵站 Porta Venezia，到市中心景點或是主要車站 Porta Garibaldi 都只要兩到三站），所以就選擇在此入住。

There are plenty of Starwood properties in Milan, including the Excelsior Hotel Galia, which is part of the Luxury Collection, and a Four Points, a Westin, and two Sheratons (one in the city and one at the airport). Since my stay was during the Milan EXPO, most hotels had rather high rates, so the Sheraton's price was most affordable and had the most value. The property also has a great location. It's easily accessible by subway and train, as the hotel is close to Porta Venezia station, which is only 2~3 stops from the city center and Porta Garibaldi station.

飯店的外觀很古色古香，不過內部是有裝修過的，現在的裝潢同時呈現了建築的古典美跟飯店的時尚感（這間飯店的酒吧在當地頗負盛名）。大廳一旁也有電腦提供房客免費使用。

The hotel was in a beautiful historic building, but of course with some renovations inside. The decor perfectly brought together the historic charm of the building with the chic and trendy tone of the hotel (as the hotel's bar was a rather famous nightlife destination in Milan). A link@sheraton business center was also at the lobby with several computers available for complimentary use.

可惜這段時間飯店完全客滿，所以沒有辦法提供升等。

Sadly, the hotel was fully booked at the time so no upgrade could be provided.

辦好手續之後，就準備進房間了。飯店畢竟還是有點年紀，所以電梯很小，如果行李不多的話可以走樓梯上樓，畢竟樓梯間也很美啊！

After completing all the paperwork I was ready to head to my room. Just like many other "historic" buildings in Europe, the elevator was tiny, so I'd advise taking the stairs if travelling light. After all, the hotel's staircase was quite stunning.

這次和同行友人共訂了兩間房，第一間是面向花園的 Deluxe Room。

My friends and I had two rooms booked, the first one was a Deluxe Room facing the garden.

Deluxe Room 的空間很小，房內的擺設也很簡單。除了一般的床、衣櫃、書桌、電視等等之外，就只有一張單人沙發。

The Deluxe Room was really tiny and was nothing to write home about. Aside from the usual bed, closet, desk, and TV, there was only a single armchair.

我也不喜歡飯店把兩張單人床擺在一起，但這在歐洲很常見就是了。

I also didn't like the fact that they pushed the two single beds together, but this seemed to be a common practice in Europe.

但面向飯店庭園的景觀還不錯。

相較之下浴室顯得比較寬敞一些（但其實也不大），採用的是浴缸／淋浴的組合。

In comparison the bathroom was a bit roomier (but still small), and had a bathtub/shower combo.

接下來則是面向大街的 Classic Room。

The second room was a Classic Room facing the street.

兩間房間比起來，反倒是 Classic Room 寬敞許多。網路上曾看到有人說這間飯店同房型的每間房間的差異都很大，看來真的是如此。

And the Classic Room was much more spacious, even though it was a lower room type. I've read somewhere on the internet that the Sheraton Diana Majestic Milan had wildly different rooms even in the same room type, and that appeared to be true.

臥室空間真的很大，如果少了加床的話還會更寬敞。

After being in the first room. this bathroom was incredibly large, and would be even roomier if we didn't have a rollaway bed.

這間房的兩個衣櫥則是鑲嵌在牆壁的，中間也多了一個櫥櫃。

The closets were embedded in the wall, and had an additional cabinet between them.

Mini Bar 和書桌則和 Deluxe Room 裡的相同。

The mini bar and desk were identical to the ones in the Deluxe Room.

而這間 Classic Room 的特點就是還有面向大街的陽台，是可以打開落地窗走出去的。雖然只在二樓（在歐洲算是一樓）但街景非常好，是我對這間房間最滿意的地方。

The best part of this room was that it had a balcony facing the street. Even though the room was only on the second floor (first floor in European terms), but it had a great view, and was my favorite part of the room.

米蘭喜來登的每日早餐在「h club > diana」餐廳／酒吧供應。餐廳的室內裝潢很有時尚感。

Daily breakfast was served at the hotel's "h club > diana" restaurant/bar. The indoor area of the restaurant had a rather trendy vibe.

戶外庭園的座位則是相當有悠閒的度假氛圍。我很喜歡每天在戶外的座位吃早餐，在此也大力稱讚負責戶外座位區的侍者，服務非常完美！

On the other hand, the outdoor garden had a relaxed resort-like atmosphere, and I enjoyed having my breakfast here. I also wanted to give a shoutout to the server in charge of the outdoor area, who provided perfect service throughout my stay.

自助早餐則是很常見的歐陸式早餐，包括麵包、水果、優格、冷肉、麥片等等。熱食的選擇只有少少幾樣而已，看起來也不太好吃。

The breakfast spread was the usual continental one, with bread, fruit, yoghurt, cold cuts, and cereal. There were only a small number of hot options, and none of them looked particularly appetizing.
