Since I've already posted my review of the new China Airlines 777-300ER Premium Business Class a while ago, this post will be primarily focused on the China Airlines First Class Lounge in Hong Kong Airport, and the small differences of the bulkhead row seats. 華航在香港的貴賓室位於一號登機門附近，在通過安檢之後下樓左轉就可以到達。
The China Airlines Lounge is located near gate 1, which is right on the left of the lower level after passing through security.

進入大門之後左轉就是頭等貴賓室。
And the first class section is on the left after entering the lounge.

雖然說香港應該是華航在桃園機場之外航班最多的機場，但是貴賓室其實相當陽春，頭等貴賓室也只是很小的一間房間而已。裡面有大約二十個座位，還有一台個人電腦可以使用。
Although technically Hong Kong is China Airlines' largest hub outside of Taiwan, the lounge was surprisingly spartan. The first class section was just a separate small room with about 20 seats and a desktop computer.

頭等貴賓室內沒有設置自助餐，餐點都是從菜單直接現點現做，或是也可以去商務貴賓室的自助餐區取用。
There were no buffet inside the first class lounge, and all the food had to be ordered through the menu; or you can also go to the buffet in the business class lounge.

菜單裡的選擇倒是相當豐富，從熱食、點心、飲料到甜點應有盡有。
The menu was quite extensive though. It had everything from hot meals, snacks, drinks and desserts.

點完餐之後，我也趁機去商務貴賓室晃了一圈。但還是同樣一句話，以華航最大的外站來說，這間貴賓室真的是陽春到不行啊！希望華航現在整修完桃園機場一航廈的貴賓室，也可以來整修一下香港機場的貴賓室了。
After placing my order, I took a quick tour of the business class lounge. And my feeling of the lounge remained unchanged. It was really mediocre for what's supposed to be the lounge for China Airlines' largest outstation. I really wish they can start refurbishing this lounge now that they have finished refurbishing the also quite ancient lounge in Taoyuan Airport's terminal one.

整間貴賓室另一個讓人詬病之處，就是都沒有窗戶，所以即便用了大量的照明，感覺還是有些陰暗。沒有香港機場其他地方大量採用自然光的明亮感。
One other major flaw of this lounge was that it had no windows. So even though there were lots of lighting, the lounge still felt a bit dark, which was a stark contrast to the rest of Hong Kong Airport.

但貴賓室內這些半獨立式的餐桌，還算是不錯的設計。
Though I did like these semi-enclosed dining tables in the lounge.

商務貴賓室的自助餐也是乏善可陳。不只選擇不多，賣相也都不好，逛了一圈之後都沒看到什麼讓人特別想吃的東西。
The buffet in the business class lounge was disappointing to say the least. There weren't many choices to begin with, and none of them looked particularly appetizing.

逛完之後立刻回到頭等貴賓室大吃一頓。一個不小心就點了一份雲吞麵、港式點心，還有冰淇淋跟水果。味道也都非常好！
I quickly returned to the first class lounge for my feast. As usual, I "accidentally" ordered to much food. Though everything (shrimp wonton noodles, dim sum, fruit and ice cream) tasted great.

回程選了第11排，也就是豪華商務艙的第一排座位。這排在座位前方還有額外的儲物空間，可以放得下一個小提袋不是問題。
I selected row 11 on this leg, which was the bulkhead row in Premium Business Class. There's some extra storage space in front of the seat, which could easily fit a small bag.

坐定之後空服員立刻送上了迎賓飲料，選擇還是一樣只有果汁跟水。
Welcome drink was quickly delivered after I was seated, though there were still only water and juice available on the ground.

回程的菜單感覺比去程的還好一些，實際吃起來也還不錯，比目魚主菜非常好吃！芒果慕斯也還不差。
The menu for the return journey actually appeared to be nicer than the outbound. And it actually tasted quite good. The sole fish was delicious, and the mango mousse also very tasty.

吃飽之後，也測試了一下新的娛樂系統內建的聊天功能。透過這個聊天室，不用離開座位就可以跟同一班機的朋友聊天了。不過其實鍵盤使用起來還是有點麻煩，要真的打一長串話的話，可能還是有點花時間。我不太確定到底會有多少人真的使用這個功能。
After my meal I took some time to test the new "chat" function in the IFE. Through this function, you can set up a chatroom with your friends and chat without leaving your seat. That sounded quite impressive except the keyboard was a bit difficult to use so typing a long sentence could take some time. I'm not sure how many people would actually be chatting through this.
