最初在訂房的時候，我就跟飯店要求要住兩晚的沙灘屋和兩晚的水上屋，這樣才能夠體驗到兩種不同的房型。如果要住水上屋的話，我強烈建議要選擇背對迎賓碼頭和主泳池區的那一側，因為這側比較安靜，而且相對也比較隱密。而且在這一側的水上屋，不論從房間的哪一處，都有絕佳的海景可以欣賞。即便是在淋浴間或是廁所，也都可以看到海景。
相對地，如果住在面向主泳池區那側的話，不但白天會被水上飛機吵得半死，而且也缺乏隱私，因為從泳池區遠遠望去，是可以看得到這一側的水上屋的。所有水上屋裡面，最理想的房號會是 210-220，這些水上屋離岸邊也比較遠，所以更加隱密。雖然這樣也代表要去公共區域時會比較遠，但是飯店有提供腳踏車，或是免費的 buggy 高爾夫球車接送，所以也沒有那麼麻煩就是了。
When I booked my stay, I requested two nights in the beach villa, and two nights in the over-water villa, so I could experience both villas. For the over-water villas, I highly recommend the ones facing away the arrival jetty and the main pool/restaurant area, it’s much more quiet there and the position offers more privacy too. You’d also get a great view of the ocean everywhere in the villa, even the shower room and toilet.
If you’re staying on the other side, not only will you be disturbed by all the sea planes during the day, there’s also less privacy because your room is facing the pool/restaurant area. The ideal villas would be #210-#220. These villas are located at the far end of the jetty, making it a long walk to the rest of the public areas, but the resort offers bicycles or buggy rides on request, so that’s not really a big deal.

水上屋最大的賣點，當然就是海景，還有直接通往海裡的階梯了。有直通海水的階梯真的非常方便，隨時都可以下去浮潛（浮潛設備可以免費借用）。就算會害怕下水的人，也可以去水上活動中心借用獨木舟（也是免費的）。飯店的獨木舟都有玻璃底，所以可以直接邊滑船邊欣賞美麗的珊瑚礁。另外房內的私人泳池真的非、常、大，又有超美的海景，整天在這裡泡水也是不成問題。
I’d say the signature of the over-water villas is the view of the ocean, as well as direct access to it. I really love the direct access to the ocean, making it really convenient for a quick snorkelling adventure (snorkelling equipments are available free of charge). If you’re afraid of actually getting “into” the ocean, you can try kayaking around the island, which is also free. They had a glass bottom installed so you can still enjoy a great view of the reef when kayaking. The private pool was also HUGE, I could literally stay in the pool all day and enjoy the view of the turquoise water.

水上屋的房型其實和沙灘屋差不多，迎賓水果、免費的咖啡和茶一樣都有提供，床也還是非常好睡。讓水上屋更上一層樓的差異，就在每間房間都裝上了大窗戶，可以讓房客到處都欣賞得到海景。另外一個我很喜歡的地方，就是從臥室和浴室都可以直接跳進泳池！儘管過去有不少次入住 Villa 的經驗，但這間水上屋真的近乎完美了。
As for the villa itself, it was pretty much the same as the Beach Pool Villa, except they had windows installed everywhere so guests can always see the ocean in the room, and the view was simply amazing during my stay. There's still plenty of fruit, tea and coffee for free. The bed is still amazing. I also love the fact that they had access to the pool directly from the bedroom AND the bathroom. Of all the villas I've stayed in, this one is close to perfection.

但在廁所和淋浴間的設計上，是有一點讓我覺得怪怪的。飯店在廁所和淋浴間中間做了一個沒有玻璃的窗戶，所以每次淋浴的時候，水都會濺到廁所去。另外在戶外區，因為戶外躺椅的區域做得比泳池低，所以只有每次到泳池裡游泳，也會把整個躺椅區弄得都是水。
因為水上屋在房間旁邊都有獨立的機器在運作，可能也會讓有些人覺得機械運轉的聲音有點吵。但我自己是覺得還可以接受，因為除非真的非常非常安靜，不然平常也聽不到聲響的。
除了這些小問題之外，對於這次的水上屋真的說不出什麼壞話。實在是太完美了！我真的覺得人生至今最美好的時光，就是入住水上屋的這兩晚了吧。
Although I find the design with the toilet and shower room rather odd. There’s a “window” with no glass between the shower room and toilet, so the toilet gets wet every time I shower. Also the location of the sun deck made it get wet every time I got into the pool because the water would splash into it.
As all the water villas run by independent machines next to the villa, some may also find the machine noises a bit disturbing, but they’re really not that big of a deal, normally you don’t hear it unless the surrounding is really quiet late at night.
Besides these minor issues, there’s really nothing to complain about the over-water villas. Simply perfect. I spent the best days of my life here.
