因為在法蘭克福有半天左右的轉機時間，所以除了去市區逛逛之外，也決定好好把握機會，參觀一下德航在法蘭克福機場的頭等艙設施。首先第一站就是頭等貴賓室了。
I planned a 12-hour layover in Frankfurt, so it gave me plenty of time to explore what Lufthansa First Class has to offer at Frankfurt Airport. First stop: the Lufthansa First Class Lounge.

德航在法蘭克福最出名的是頭等艙專屬航廈，也是多數頭等艙乘客會使用的設施，所以相對來說機場一般航廈裡面的頭等貴賓室，使用的旅客就比較少。但其實兩者之間在設施上差異不大，唯一的差別只有使用頭等貴賓室的話，不會有專車直接載你到登機門而已（除非剛好遇到遠端機坪登機）。
Lufthansa is well-known for its First Class Terminal in Frankfurt, and that's where most first class passengers tend to use. So the lounge in the main terminal is usually less full most of the time. The two facilities, though, are actually quite alike, the only difference is that you won't be driven to your plane when using the first class lounge (unless your plane is leaving from a remote stand).

一進入貴賓室之後，左手邊有好幾間獨立的工作間。比起其他航空公司貴賓室裡的開放式工作間，這種完全的隔間更可以讓旅客專心工作不被打擾，是德航的頭等貴賓室裡面，我最喜歡的設施之一。
Right after the entrance of the lounge were several individual work rooms on the left hand side. I much preferred these work rooms than the open cubicles other airlines offer in their lounges. Having a fully enclosed space really helped focusing on my work. And this was without doubt my favorite part of the lounge.

另一邊則是有著豐富酒類收藏的酒吧，貴賓室內的座位旁邊，也都有擺放完整的酒單。
On the other side was a very well-stocked bar. Wine lists were placed next to each seat in the lounge.

因為是一大早貴賓室才剛開放沒多久，所以整間貴賓室只有一兩個人而已。
Since it was really early in the morning (around 6AM), there were only one or two other guests in the lounge, allowing me to take as many pictures as I wanted.

貴賓室看出去，剛好可以看到法蘭克福機場一整排的四引擎機型，包括747-400、747-8i、A380等等，完全可以讓航空迷大飽眼福。
The lounge had a great view of all the Lufthansa four-engine jets in Frankfurt Airport, including 747-400, 747-8i, and the A380. The view really doesn't get better than this!

德航各處的頭等貴賓室另外一大賣點，就是附有浴缸的浴室，還有附贈的橡皮小鴨了。許多常客都會蒐集這些小鴨，是造訪頭等貴賓室的必備紀念品。
One of the other well-known feature of Lufthansa's first class lounges is their bathroom. Each lounge have one or two bathrooms with a bathtub, and they also come with Lufthansa's signature rubber ducks. The ducks are considered as must-have souvenirs when visiting the lounge, and some frequent flyers even have a collection of them.

浴室內的浴缸非常寬敞，而且頭等貴賓室內的浴缸是有按摩功能的，頭等航廈裡的沒有。
The bathtub was extremely wide and spacious. It's also worth mentioning that the bathtub in the first class lounge had jacuzzi functions, while the ones in the first class terminal didn't.

德航在法蘭克福的貴賓室由 Do & Co 負責外燴，在我造訪貴賓室時，供應的是早餐。以機場貴賓室的標準來說，自助餐的餐點非常多樣，品質也毫無意外地非常讓人滿意。
The Lufthansa lounges in Frankfurt were catered by Do & Co, and breakfast was being served while I was in the lounge. The selection was extensive for an airport lounge, and the quality was top notch as well.

在這邊也要大力稱讚一下德航頭等貴賓室的餐桌擺設，頗有高級餐廳的水準。不只中間的花飾恰到好處之外，每桌都還有自己專屬的兩瓶水（一瓶氣泡水一瓶蒸餾水），處處可以感受到他們的用心。
I also want to compliment Lufthansa for their table setting, which really matched the standard of a fine dining restaurant. Each table had its own bottles of water (one still and one sparkling), and the centerpiece was very beautiful. They've obviously put a lot of thought in their table setting, and I'd say it paid off.

我有點了一杯芒果果昔，除了比我預期的稍微偏甜了一些之外，還算不錯。
I ordered a mango smoothie to go with my meal, and it was quite good, only slightly sweeter than I imagined it would be.

在吃完早餐之後，我決定先在貴賓室內小睡片刻，保留體力準備在市區的觀光行程。德航頭等貴賓室裡，當然也有獨立的休息間可以睡覺，而且還鋪好了床單跟棉被喔。
After breakfast I decided to have a quick nap in the lounge to recharge before my tour of the city. There were, of course, nap rooms in the first class lounge, and the beds inside even had sheets and a blanket.

另外休息間裡面還配有喇叭跟兩瓶礦泉水，以及一副耳塞。
There were also a set of speakers, two bottles of water, and a pair of earplugs in the nap rooms.

相當舒服的睡了兩三個小時的好覺之後，就準備動身離開機場，開始簡短的法蘭克福市區之旅了。
I slept really well for about 2 or 3 hours before leaving the airport and heading into the city for me brief tour of Frankfurt.

在市區閒晃了一陣子之後，就到了要造訪德航最著名的設施的時候了。德航頭等航廈一直在眾多飛行常客心裡有著很特殊的地位。這次準備終於可以使用到頭等航廈，心情也難免有些緊張。
After touring around Old Frankfurt, it's time to visit the most famous and luxurious facility Lufthansa has to offer. The Lufthansa First Class Terminal always had a special place in hearts of many frequent flyers, so I was really nervous and excited to finally being able to set foot in this "holy" place.

如果搭車的話，可以直接請司機開到頭等航廈。至於一般從機場步行的話，則是出了一般航廈之後左轉走到底，經過計程車排班區之後，就可以看到寫著斗大頭等艙字樣的建築物了。
If you're being driven to the airport, you can ask the driver to go directly to the First Class Terminal. Though if you're walking from the airport like I am, just make a left turn after exciting the main terminal, pass the taxi waiting area, and you'll see the building with large "Lufthansa First Class" signs written on it.

一樓門口不會有人員駐守，可以直接搭電梯到二樓。
The ground floor entrance isn't staffed, so just take the elevator and head upstairs.

電梯門一開，馬上就有一位地勤人員（「秘書」）在門口等著，接過旅客的行李、護照跟詢問班機資料。頭等航廈有專屬的安檢設施，當然是完全不需要排隊等待的。通過安檢之後就可以先去貴賓室內休息，過一陣子之後，這位「秘書」就會將登機證印好交給你，但會保留你的護照在航廈專屬的證照查驗區，直到登機前才會歸還。
Once the elevator doors open you'd be immediately greeted by a staff (or "secretary" as they're called here). They'll take over your luggage, passport, and ask for your flight information. There's a dedicated security line in side the First Class Terminal, so you'd be through within seconds with absolutely no wait at all. After you're done with security, feel free to rest in the lounge as they process all the formalities for you. After a short while your "secretary" will appear with your boarding pass printed; but they'll hold on to your passport until boarding time.

I was happy to finally receive one of Lufthansa's famous first class boarding pass covers. It looked very classy with silver stamping.

頭等航廈的裝潢和其他頭等貴賓室其實大同小異，各種配備也都差不多。所以在這邊我就簡單帶過各區域，然後特別說明一下比較不一樣的地方。
Like I've said, the First Class Terminal was quite similar to the First Class Lounge, and had all the same amenities. So I'll briefly go through each part of the lounge and pick out some parts that are different or unique to this terminal.

At the entrance there's a display of all the Lufthansa rubber ducks, including the special edition ones for holidays or special events.

There's also a full-stocked bar and sit-down restaurant with the same food and drink options as the first class lounge, as both were catered by Do & Co.

當然，頭等航廈內也有休息間，只不過這裡的休息間沒有鋪床單，感覺沒有頭等貴賓室裡床的那麼舒適。
The First Class Terminal also had several nap rooms. However, the beds here were not covered by sheets, so it looked less comfortable than the ones in the first class lounge.

因為雪茄館裡面人有點多，就沒有進去拍了，但和貴賓室的雪茄館擺設是一樣的。
Since the cigar lounge was quite full, I didn't go inside to take pictures. It was identical to the one in the first class lounge as far as I could tell though.

頭等航廈的座位，感覺比貴賓室多樣一些。除了一般的沙發座位跟靠窗座位之外，還有一區躺椅，上面也有放毛毯供使用。可能是在休息間客滿的時候，可以讓旅客有額外的地方休息。
It did seem like there's more variety in terms of seating in the First Class Terminal. Aside from the usual sofas and chairs, there's also a separate section of lounge chairs with blankets placed on them. I assume these seats would be useful when the nap rooms are occupied.

獨立的工作間自然也是不會少的，也比頭等貴賓室多出幾間。只不過這裡經常是客滿狀態，所以想使用的話得隨時注意，看到有空的話要搶要快。
While there were even more work rooms in the First Class Terminal, most remained occupied most of the time. So if you really want to use one of them, you need to pay attention and get one as soon as it becomes available.

洗好澡之後休息了一陣子，我的「秘書」就來通知我準備登機了。下樓之後先到專屬證照查驗櫃檯領已經辦好出境手續的護照，接著就搭上專車出發到登機門囉。既然來到德國籍航空，負責接送的車輛不外乎就是賓士跟保時捷。雖然沒有搭到保時捷，但搭到新款賓士轎車，也是很爽的啊～
After my bath I lounged around for a bit more before my "secretary" came to notify me that it's time for boarding. We headed downstairs to the terminal's dedicated passport control to collect my passport, which was already stamped, and headed out for my ride to the plane. As a German airline, it goes without saying that Lufthansa uses Mercedes-Benz and Porsche for their first class ground service. While I was sad not to get a Porsche this time, but being driven to my flight in my personal brand new Mercedes was certainly nice enough. First World problems, huh?

有頭等航廈的專車接送登機就是不一樣，完全不需要經過一般的登機程序，車子直接開到飛機下面，然後透過專屬通道進入空橋登機，從頭到尾不用踏進一般航廈一步！
Having a private car transfer from the First Class Terminal was truly a phenomenal experience. I got to completely skip all the usual boarding procedures. My car brought me directly under the plane, and I boarded through a separate entrance to the jet bridge, without ever stepping into the terminal itself.

一進到機艙，映入眼簾的就是德航頭等艙的字樣。不得不說德航在艙等的區隔上做得很用心，只要是頭等艙，什麼東西都會特別標上頭等艙字樣，隨著我的介紹看下去就會發現了。

德航 747-8i 的頭等艙位於機鼻，總共只配有八個座位。和其他航空公司比較，一樣的空間，國泰跟泰航頭等艙有九個座位，韓亞航則有十個，英國航空更擠了十四個座位。這樣一比之下，就可以知道德航頭等艙的每個座位有多寬敞了。
Lufthansa's first class cabin is located at the nose of the 747-8i, with only a total of 8 seats. To put this into comparison, Cathay Pacific and Thai has 9 seats in the same space, Asiana has 10, and British Airways even has 14. I think this shows just how spacious each is in Lufthansa First Class.

每個座位上一樣擺有玫瑰花裝飾。雖然和 747-400 的座位比起來少了床，不過還是很舒適的。
Each seat was decorated with a single rose. Compared to the first class seat on the 747-400, this one did not have a separate bed, but was still very comfortable to be in.

既然是頭等艙，收納空間當然也不會少。除了腳踏墊下的收納空間以及上方置物櫃之外，每個人在頭等艙後方也有自己專屬的置物櫃跟衣櫃，絕對夠放帶上飛機的所有物品。
And a proper first class seat would never lack storage space. Other than the usual overhead bins, there's a storage compartment under the ottoman, and also a personal storage locker/closet for each passenger at the back of the cabin, big enough for anything you might bring on board.

如果說德航頭等艙的座位有什麼缺點的話，就是隱私度缺乏了一些，沒有其他有牆或是門的頭等艙座位來得隱密。不過還好每個座位都有一道隔板，是可以隨意控制升起的，多多少少補足了一點乘客隱私。
If I had to pick a flaw of the Lufthansa first class seat, it's that they lack privacy. Most first class seats out there are already semi or fully-enclosed yet the Lufthansa seat lack walls or doors. Luckily there's still a privacy shied that could be raised, which offered at least a bit of privacy.

每個頭等艙座位也都有四面窗戶，四面窗戶一字排開，更顯示出頭等艙座位的氣派。
Each first class seat had four beautifully aligned windows, which showed just how spacious the seat was.

座位旁邊也有額外的置物空間，適合放一些飛行途中會用到的小型物品。

既然 747-8i 比 747-400 來得新，當然在頭等艙硬體上也是有一些更新升級。不管是娛樂系統或是座位的控制器，都比 747-400 上的更新更好用。
Since the 747-8i is a newer version of the 747, there were some upgrades in the hard product. Both the entertainment and seat controls were updated and much easier to use than the ones on the 747-400.

其實一登機之後，透過空服員的態度，馬上就可以感受到這次航程的服務一定會很好了。他們不但每個人都記得每位乘客的名字，也都逐一前來自我介紹（包括兩位頭等艙空服員跟座艙長）。然後也馬上送上了各種備品。首先是迎賓飲料。這時候因為在貴賓室已經喝了不少酒，所以先只點了一杯水。
I could instantly tell that I'll have a great flight after my brief interaction with the cabin crew after boarding. They all addressed me by name while each of them came to introduce themselves (including the two first class FAs and the purser). All the amenities were also delivered promptly, starting with welcome drinks. I've already had my fair share of alcohol at that point, so opted for some water instead.

盥洗包則得到了夢寐以求的 Rimowa 盥洗包，還是我最喜歡的海軍藍色。
The amenity kit was the famous Rimowa one, and in my favorite navy blue.

再來則是拖鞋和睡衣，和上一段航程一樣，上衣和睡褲是分開包裝的。
Then slippers and pajamas were delivered. The shirt and trousers were packaged separately just like the ones from my previous flight.

起飛之後，把握時間先到廁所換上睡衣，頭等艙的廁所有一個可以翻下來的坐墊，讓乘客換衣服的時候可以坐著換。
After take-off, I headed to the lavatory to change into my pajamas. The first class lavatory had a seating platform that could be flipped down so there's somewhere to sit one while changing.

廁所備品則是使用 La prairie 的產品，也一樣有玫瑰花裝飾。
Lufthansa offered La prairie products in the first class lavatory, and also had some rose decorations in it as well.

當然德航也沒有放過在廁所門口上標註頭等艙專用的機會。
Of course they just had to put a large first class sign on the lavatory door.

回到座位上之後，空服員們也開始了送餐服務。
Meal service started soon after I returned to my seat.

首先送上熱毛巾跟開胃小點，我則點了香檳搭配。如果有注意細節的話，就會看到就連衛生紙也是有寫上德航頭等艙的。
Service started with a hot towel and canape, and I ordered some champagne to accompany it. If you look closed enough, you'd see that even the napkins were first class-branded as well.

接著送上菜單跟酒單，因為是日本航線，所以餐點有西式跟日式可以選擇。
At this point the menu and wine list for the flight were distributed. Since it was a flight to Japan, there were both Western and Japanese meal options available.

接著空服員們也在頭等艙中間設立了簡單的吧台，還有擺好每位乘客的餐桌。
The flight attendants then set up a small bar at the center, and proceeded to set the table for each passenger.

擺設餐桌後首先提供麵包。不愧是德航，就連奶油上也不忘印上頭等艙字樣。
I was offered some bread after my table was set. And as per Lufthansa norm, even the butter had "First Class" printed on it.

接著就是第一道前菜：魚子醬，份量給得毫不吝嗇。
The official meal started with some caviar, which came in generous portions.

接著則是真正的三道前菜，如果有看我前一篇飛行紀錄，就知道我對德航的餐點不太滿意。這趟雖然有改善一些，但前菜的品質依然是很普通。
It was followed by the appetizer trio. If you've read my previous trip report, you'd know that I didn't have many nice things to say about Lufthansa's on board food, and this one, while being very slightly better, also had less than satisfying appetizers.

The salad was sub-par as well.

主菜一端出來，更是讓人想搖頭。不只比目魚本身不好吃，其他配菜更是既難吃擺盤又差。
I was even more disappointed after my main dish was brought out. The halibut itself was chewy and badly seasoned, the garnishes were even worse, and the plating made everything look even less appetizing than they already were.

還好餐後有水果盤救援，還有茶壺很美的綠茶。
另外值得一提的是，用餐時的服務真的非常好，不只上餐的速度恰到好處，而且負責的空服員也很注重細節。就連我其中一杯香檳放得稍微久了一些，她還立刻跟我說這樣香檳不冰了不好喝，主動幫我換了一杯新的。其實服務能讓人特別留下深刻印象的，一直都是這些小地方，而這點她是完全掌握到了。
They did slightly redeem themselves with the fruit plate (after all, what could go wrong?) and the green tea which was delivered in a beautiful tea pot.
Even though the food was awful, service remained top notch throughout the meal service. Each course was timed perfectly, and the flight attendant in charge was extremely focused on details. I only had one glass of champagne sit slightly longer than it should before she came and offered me a fresh glass, "because that one's not cold enough now." When it comes to service, it's the small touches that leaves an impression, and I think she truly mastered that aspect.

餐後就請空服員協助鋪床。雖然說不像 747-400 一樣有真正的床，不過還是很好睡。再加上經過這麼久的旅行也有點累了，因此這段睡得非常好。
I requested my bed to be made after finishing my meal. It's certainly not as comfortable as the real bed on the 747-400, but still good enough for a good night's sleep. At this point I was getting tired after all the travel, so passed out almost instantly.

一個不小心就睡了大概六小時，直接進到早餐時間。
And I slept like a baby for about six hours before being woken up for breakfast.

有了前車之鑑，這次直接放棄西式餐選擇日式早餐，果然是相當正確的決定！無疑是這次搭乘德航的四份餐裡面最好吃的一份。
After the horrible dinner service, I gave up the Western meal and asked for the Japanese breakfast, which turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. It was without doubt the best meal I've had in my Lufthansa flights.

首先前菜就已經讓人驚艷，擺盤好口味也佳。我特別喜歡德航日式餐的餐具，比起西式餐的有風格多了。
Just the appetizer alone was impressive. The plating and taste were both extraordinary. And I found Lufthansa's Japanese tableware to have much more style than their Western ones.

主餐雖然看起來擺盤有待加強，但倒是很好吃，是我在德航的旅程中第一次吃光主餐。
Even though the plating of the main dish could use some improvement, it was delicious nonetheless. It was the first time I finished a main dish in all my flights with Lufthansa.

主餐也有附味噌湯跟米飯。比起亞洲航空，當然德航的米飯味道是不能比的，不過做成小飯糰的樣子還是很可愛。
The main course also came with rice and miso soup. Of course the quality of the rice could not compare to what was offered on Asian airlines, but I loved its cute presentation.

吃飽喝足之後，就一邊喝著香檳，一邊看飛機慢慢準備降落羽田機場。不免俗地，要舉杯敬一下這次的德航頭等艙之旅，也要感謝哩程跟點數讓這次旅行成真！
After all the feasting I just sipped some more champagne while watching the plane slowly descend into Haneda Airport. A toast to my dream trip in Lufthansa First Class, and to the miles and points hobby that made this all possible!
