因為到新竹出差的關係，選擇在新竹的喜來登入住一晚。但因為大部份時間都不在飯店內，只能簡單介紹一下房間。
I was in Hsinchu for business and needed to overnight, so chose to check out the Sheraton. However, as I was away most of the time, I can only briefly review the room.

新竹喜來登有喜達屋金卡及白金卡會員的專屬櫃台，所以辦理入住非常快。負責幫我辦理手續的服務人員非常親切，也告知幫我升等到了行政樓層。我不太確定升等到行政樓層是不是有包括使用行政貴賓廳的權利（據說是沒有），但反正我大部份時間都不在飯店，也就沒有追問了。
Sheraton Hsinchu had a dedicated desk for SPG gold and platinum members, so check-in was a breeze for me. The agent helping me was very friendly, and told me that I was upgraded to a Club Room. I wasn't sure if that included access to the club lounge (word on the street was no), but since I wouldn't be able to use it anyway, I never asked.

行政樓層還有擺放免費的水果（蘋果）給房客取用。

飯店其實很新（2010年才開幕），所以大部份的空間都很乾淨整齊。硬體上感覺比台北的喜來登好一些。
The hotel was a new property (it only opened in 2010), so most of the spaces were clean and well-maintained. I'd prefer it over the Sheraton in Taipei in terms of hard product.

我被分配到1919號房，是一間標準的房型。

一進門之後左右兩邊就是浴室跟衣櫃。浴室有獨立的淋浴間跟浴缸，設備也都非常新。跟臥室雖然是用玻璃隔開，但有電動窗簾可以拉下。
Once entering the room, the bathroom was on the left and the closet on the right. The bathroom had a separate shower room and bathtub, and was very new and modern. Even though it was separated from the bedroom by glass, there was a electronic curtain that could be lowered for more privacy.

比較可惜的是即使在行政樓層，沐浴備品仍然是使用喜來登的自家品牌。
The amenities, even in the club floor, was still Sheraton's own brand, which was slightly disappointing.

臥室配備上算是很標準的，一張雙人床、小沙發、電視，還有書桌。唯一不足之處就是沙發附近沒有一張小桌子可以放東西。
The bedroom was rather standard, with a king-size bed, small sofa, tv and desk. The only thing lacking was a small table next to the sofa.

Mini Bar上已經擺好迎賓水果跟兩瓶免費的瓶裝水，另外裡面還有一些零食跟飲料。

書桌很大，配備也很齊全。左手邊的抽屜裡也有各種文具可以使用。椅子坐起來也非常舒服，是這次的一大亮點。
The desk was large and well-equipped with everything you need. There were some stationary available in the drawers, and the chair was extremely comfortable to sit in. It was the highlight of this room I must say.

床倒是很標準的「喜來登甜夢之床」，很寬敞也很好睡，沒什麼好抱怨的。
The bed was the usual "Sheraton Sweet Sleeper" Bed. It was large and comfortable. Nothing to complain here.

即便我待在飯店的時間並不多，但這次入住的經驗還不錯，也很喜歡飯店新穎的配備。如果之後還會到新竹，我還是會選擇入住喜來登。在價格上通常在四千元台幣左右，比起台北的各間喜達屋飯店也不算太貴。如果未來維持會籍有需要衝入住次數的話，這裡也會是我的首選。
Even though I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, my experience was quite good as I was really impressed by the hard product. I would certainly return again if I ever have to be in Hsinchu. Also the price is usually around 4000 NTD, which was relatively cheaper than most Starwood properties in Taipei, making it quite ideal for a mattress run if I ever need one to keep my status.
