暹羅凱賓斯基的獨特之處就在於它將一般渡假村型式的飯店完整移植到了曼谷市中心。住在飯店內，可以讓人同時有住在都會型飯店跟熱帶島嶼的雙重享受。旅客可以選擇在旅館的泳池旁邊休息，或是隨時前往只有一步之遙的各個大型商場逛街。不管是方便性或舒適性都令人讚賞。

I chose to stay at Siam Kempinski because it kind of is the only "resort-ish" hotel situated right at the heart of a busy city like Bangkok. The experience turned out to be amazing, not like anywhere else in BKK. I got to lounge by the pool like I'm staying in a tropical island, but move right to one of the largest department stores in literally one minute. The famous Siam Square and Central World are also minutes away. 

想要前往飯店的旅客，只要在 BTS Siam 站下車之後，進入 Siam Paragon 百貨公司，就可以一路走到底，再經由百貨公司跟飯店的連通口進入 Siam Kempinski。對於氣溫常常飆破 30 度的曼谷來說，可以一邊吹冷氣一邊前往旅館真是再幸福不過了！飯店大廳也是相當氣派豪華，挑高設計讓人覺得特別寬廣。

I took the BTS and walked to Siam Kempinski through Siam Paragon. They had a connecting door at the back of Paragon. After a 3-5 (air-conditioned) walk, here I am in this breathtaking lobby. There are no words for it.

在 Kempinski 的 Check-in 過程不像是在 St. Regis 一樣的小桌子進行，而是在一般的櫃台處理。這點其有待改進，因為大家看下方的照片就知道，其實他們並不是沒有類似的位置，但不知道為什麼還是讓旅客站在櫃台前完成 check-in 手續。這點相較之下就沒有那麼親切了。但整個過程其實也相當迅速，所以還算可以接受。而且即便我到達的時間是下午一點，他們還是讓我先提早 check-in。整體服務還算不錯。

I quickly proceeded to the check-in counter. They had a miss when they did not invite me to sit at those small check-in desks but made me stand at the counter to wait. It would've felt more personal and warm if check-in is processed at those desks. But the overall process was still smooth and even though it was only 1 pm, I was told my suite was ready for me. They also assigned someone to handle my luggage as soon as I stepped into the hotel, which was a nice touch.

這次入住的套房位在 Garden Wing 的尾端，所以不管走到哪裡都需要一段距離。如果不想要走那麼遠的人，可以提前跟飯店說想要入住 Royal Wing，距離就差很多。

My suite was at the end of the garden wing, so it was quite a long walk. But it was more quite and private though. For those who prefer a shorter walk, ask for the "Royal Wing."

整體而言客廳相當寬敞跟舒適。不管是辦公桌、沙發都有很足夠的空間。這還是我第一次看到有飯店在辦公桌擺上三張椅子的！大多的旅館有兩張就算多了。其他細節請慢慢看照片囉～

The living room was spacious and quite comfortable. Quite a lot of seating everywhere. So it's a great place to hand out and watch some TV if you're not feeling like going out.

Mini bar 的飲料食物都相當豐富，還有提供各種不同酒類。只是和其他地方一樣都是要額外收費的。所以還是少碰為妙囉！如果想要吃零食或是喝飲料，其實走兩步路到 Siam Paragon 的美食街或是超級市場採購就好，不用在這裡花冤枉錢。附贈的兩瓶礦泉水倒是不用錢，可以隨意飲用。

The mini bar was also very well-stocked (and like all the other places, very expensive). If you want anything, just go to the food court and supermarket in Siam Paragon. They are only a few steps away but things are much cheaper there.

我特別喜歡 Kempinski 整體的客房設計，在豪華、舒適的感覺上拿捏地恰到好處。客廳沙發也非常舒服，是那種坐下去之後就不想再起來的沙發！

I love the couch in the living room. So comfortable! The design of the room is also very elegant. I think they had a perfect grasp between a luxurious design and "going a little too much." I would say this is the prettiest hotel I stayed in BKK this time.

如果可以，還真想把沙發也搬回家！

Bedroom

臥室的床本身相當大，不過睡起來感覺偏硬，不太像是一般歐美連鎖飯店都喜歡比較軟的床鋪。

First look at the bedroom was definitely nice. The bed was quite large but it was harder than most Western chains, feels like a bed in a Japanese or Asian hotel.

衣櫃空間也非常寬敞，裡面的設備也非常充足。但比較令人不解的是當飯店有提供免費燙衣服務的時候，為什麼還要在臥室裡面放熨斗呢？

The closet space was also spacious and well-equipped. Though offering an iron was quite redundant when the hotel already offers complimentary pressing service.

浴室的設計和空間都非常精緻和寬闊，在我心目中絕對是曼谷數一數二的浴室！整個淋浴空間和浴缸都很舒適，不會像一般旅館一樣有時候會有點擠。Siam Kempinski 更使用了我最愛的 Molton Brown 備品，不管是沐浴乳或洗髮精都相當好用喔！

The bathroom was also very nice. I would rate it as one of the best in Bangkok. Not only do I love the decor, the tub and shower are also very spacious and comfortable. The Molton Brown products they offer are my favorite in this trip. They're so good I just had to take them all home!

如果要我選出這間浴室唯一的缺點，大概就是他們沒有配備兩組洗手台吧。以五星級飯店的套房來說，現在應該都要配備了兩組洗手台才對。

The only bad side of the bathroom is that they don't offer double vanity. I was expecting one since it is a suite in a five-star hotel.

這個浴缸的設計是不是很美！我特別喜歡他們用落地窗來分隔臥室跟浴缸，讓整個空間感覺更加寬敞一些，泡起澡來也不會覺得很有封閉感。如果有需要把空間隔開的話，也還是有窗簾可以提供一些隱私。

The design of the bathtub is beautiful. And I love that they uses floor-to-ceiling windows to separate the bathroom and the bedroom, it just makes the whole place much more spacious. They also have blinds for the ones who need some privacy though.

從房間可以直接看到 Central World 跟旅館的泳池區。

The view from the room is also fantastic. I get a perfect view of Central World and the hotel pool.

行政貴賓廳&早餐

Executive Lounge & Breakfast

所有行政樓層客房和套房的客人都可以隨時到行政貴賓廳（executive lounge）休息，另外還供應下午茶、晚間雞尾酒，以及專屬的早餐。貴賓廳總共分為兩大區塊，分別是用餐區跟休憩、閱報區，通常都是用餐區人比較多。

All executive floor and suite guests have access to the executive lounge, located on the 17th floor. It takes an entire floor and consists of a dining area, lounge area, and dedicated buffet section. Most of the time people are seated in the dining area for afternoon tea, evening cocktail, and breakfast. So the lounge area is always empty.

在下午茶時段我點了一份帕尼尼，搭配蘋果汁跟英式早餐茶。在貴賓廳有專屬的帕尼尼製作台，可以由房客任選配料跟麵包。不得不說這份帕尼尼是我這輩子吃過最好吃的了！！！現在想到都還會嘴饞啊！！

I ordered a panini, apple juice, and English breakfast tea for the afternoon tea. The panini was fresh-made from a dedicated panini section. There's a cook there, and you can order from a wide selection there. All I can say about the panini is, OH MY GOD!! It was definitely the best I've ever had in my life! Just thinking about it now makes me craving for another one.

所有行政樓層的房客都可以選擇在餐廳用餐，或是在貴賓廳裡面享用早餐。通常餐廳會有比較多選擇，但貴賓廳人比較少也比較安靜。貴賓廳裡面一樣有還算豐富的早餐，但因為早餐吃得有點趕，就沒有多拍照了。

They also had wide selection of breakfast, and guests can choose to eat here or at the restaurant. The restaurant would've had a better variety, but I chose to eat in the lounge because it's just more private and quiet in the lounge. I'm sorry that I did not take more photos though.

飯店的泳池區真的非!常!大!泳池總共分為好幾區，旁邊也有非常多的躺椅供房客休息。

The pool area was MASSIVE! The hotel actually has several pools in the area, and more than plenty lounge chairs surrounding the pools. It's always nice to lay back and relax for an afternoon.

飯店也有直接通往泳池的客房跟套房，很值得嘗試看看。

The hotel also has duplex suites and pool access rooms that have direct access into the pools like a resort. When I come back to Bangkok next time, I'd definitely try that out.

整體來說，Siam Kempinski 不管在房間或是服務上都可以拿到滿分，地點也是絕佳。在任何方面幾乎都是無可挑剔。除了價錢比曼谷其他飯店稍高之外，真的想不到其他不來入住的理由了。

The overall quality and service is almost perfect in Siam Kempinski. It's location is also one of the best places in Bangkok. Other than the price of the hotel, I couldn't think of any other reason to stop people from coming to this hotel!
