新航馬爾地夫-新加坡-台北商務艙(Singapore Airlines Business Class: Maldives-Singapore-Taipei)

因為新航離開馬爾地夫的班機是深夜才會起飛,所以我一開始就要求飯店幫忙訂國內線的班機到馬列,而不要搭一開始的水上飛機。這樣的時間表才能夠在飯店待到比較晚,也不用在機場枯等報到櫃台開放。

結果馬爾地夫的國內線也真的比水上飛機好太多了。不僅機上有冷氣、有空服員,還在25分鐘的航程裡進行了飲料服務、送水、送糖果,而且我的座位還被安排在第一排,所以還有額外的椅距可以伸展~真的比水上飛機舒服多了!

在機上的時間真的過得非常快,降落之後,走沒幾步路就是國際線的航廈了,也非常的方便。這時候新航的報到已經開始,也沒有人在排隊,所以很快就完成了所有手續。新航在馬列使用的是 Plaza Premium 貴賓室,基本上就是個還算OK的空間,有足夠的座位跟一些少少的食物而已,沒有什麼特別的地方。

Since my Singapore flight does not leave until late at night, I decided to ask the hotel to book me a domestic connection flight to Male instead of the usual sea plane transfer. That allowed me some more time in the resort, and less time waiting at the airport. 

The domestic flight with Maldivian turned out to be so much better than the sea plane. Not only did the FA managed to have one drink service, one water service, and handed out candies all in 25 minutes, I was also seated in row 1, which gave me so much more legroom than in a sea plane!

We landed shortly later, and it was just a short walk to the international terminal. Check-in already opened for SQ when we arrived. As there was no line at all, everything was done in no time. I was invited to the contract Plaza Lounge, which seemed to be one of the two lounges available in MLE. It was a nice space with enough seating and a small selection of food. Nothing to write home about though.

大約在起飛 45 分鐘前,我就決定先在機場裡面到處逛逛,然後直接前往登機門。不過到了之後才發現登機延後了,所以最後還在登機門多等了大概 20 分鐘左右。等到地勤一宣佈登機,整個候機室就陷入一片混亂,大家到拼命擠到前面想要登機。還好地勤還是有嚴格執行優先登機,不然我大概得要多排好一陣子的隊,才能接近登機門吧。

I decided to walk around the airport about 45 minutes before departure and head straight to the gate. However, boarding was delayed so I had to wait at the gate for another 20 minutes or so. After boarding was announced, the gate area became really chaotic and everyone wanted to board. Luckily, priority boarding was strictly enforced. I would’ve had to wait for a long time if priority boarding was not enforced.

就像一開始來馬爾地夫的班機一樣,所有乘客都是要從登機門走過停機坪上飛機的。在登機之後,迎接我的就是完美的新航服務了。雖然因為馬爾地夫法律的關係,在地面上都不能提供酒精性飲料,有點小小讓人失望。

All passengers had to walk to the plane like when I arrived. After I boarded the plane, it was the same perfect SQ service, although due to Maldivian law, no alcoholic beverages were served on the ground.


今天商務艙的乘客非常少(30個座位只做了6個人),所以服務非常的個人化也非常好,只可惜大部份乘客好像一上機就急著睡覺,所以也不太理當天的空服員就是了。

這班飛機的飛機餐真的非常的普通,份量也比較小(沒有沙嗲、水果跟起司)。更慘的是主餐的口味也非常差,大概是四段航程裡面最難吃的吧,不僅沒有味道,也真的是非常普通。

We had a very light load in business class that day (6 out of 30), so the staffs got to offer really personalized service. Though it was a late flight so all of the passengers went to sleep very quickly and no one seemed to be interested in anything offered by the crew.

The meal was rather light and unimpressive (no satay, no fruit, no cheese). Just to make it worse, the food was the worst in the four segments I took this time. Everything was really bland and, simply, not good.

在用餐結束之後,我大概睡了 2.5 小時左右,醒來的時候剛好開始降落。儘管一開始出發的時候延誤了不少,但是班機還是準時到了新加坡。如果考量到我們一開始的延誤時間,真的得要給機長大力比讚了。下機之後,就又迅速回到漂亮的新航銀刃貴賓室啦!

After meal service, I slept for about 2.5 hrs and woke up just when we started descending. Despite the late departure, the captain still managed to make an on-time arrival, which was impressive considering how late we were when departing. Then it’s just a short walk before I was back in the beautiful SilverKris lounge.

我比平常早了一些就出發前往登機門,因為希望能夠藉機拍到新航的 A380 機隊,結果還真的被我拍到一台啦!近看就發現 A380 確實是一台很美的飛機。今年下半年我也會搭到新航的 A380,到時候要記得鎖定啊!

這次登機程序和上一班新加坡出發的航班不太一樣,是有地勤人員在門口檢查登機證的。所以有確實執行優先登機的順序。商務艙這班的乘客一樣不多(大約半滿),所以在大部份乘客登機之後,我看到前面中間的第一排還有空位,就問當天的座艙長是否可以換位子,他也很爽快地答應了。確實第一排的位置空間有更寬敞了一些,也比較舒適。雖然有時候前面廚房的聲音會打擾到人,但是以日間航班的標準來說,還算是可以接受的。

I headed to the gate area a little early hoping to catch one of SQ's A380s, and I did! It was a beautiful plane up close. I will be flying in one of them later this year, so stay tuned!

Unlike my previous flight from Singapore to Male, this time there’s a staff checking boarding passes when boarding, so priority was enforced. It was a light load as well (only about half full). After all the passengers boarded, I saw the middle bulkhead seats were empty and asked if I could switch, the purser gladly said yes. The bulkhead seats had much more legroom and were really comfortable. Sometimes the noise from the galley was a little disturbing, but quite acceptable during a day flight.

這段航班的餐點我又再次先上網預訂了牛排。本來希望新加坡出發的航班口味會好一些,沒想到還是一樣災難,大概只比台北出發的那餐牛排好一點點而已。但其他的餐點就還不錯,只是從馬爾地夫一路吃到新航貴賓室的我,現在已經沒有空間再多吃任何東西了啊!!

For this flight I pre-ordered steak again, hoping it would be better ex-Singapore. It was the same disaster, only slightly better than the previous steak I had from Taipei to Singapore. The rest of the meal was fine, but at this point, after all the eating all the way from Maldives to the SilverKris lounge, I was too full to finish the entire meal.

那天的航班提早降落了一些,而且看來那時候也沒有什麼其他航班抵達台北,因為不管是證照查驗還是海關都完全沒有排隊,一下子就都過關了!大概在降落後的 30 分鐘以內,我就已經在前往市區的車上了。這樣的速度在桃園機場還是第一次吧!

We had an early arrival that day. Looks like we were the only flight arriving at that time because I whisk through immigration and baggage claim in no time. Actually I was on my way to the city within about 30 mins after touchdown, which is a first when it comes to TPE.
