國泰航空在新加坡機場並沒有自營貴賓室,使用的是 dnata 貴賓室。當然如果在澳航貴賓室或是英航貴賓室的營運時間內,也是可以憑寰宇一家的規定使用這兩間貴賓室的。不過當天是早上的班機,這兩間貴賓室都還沒開門,就只好乖乖來 dnata 貴賓室了。
Cathay Pacific does not operate its own lounge in Singapore, and uses the dnata lounge instead. If the Qantas Lounge or British Airways Lounge is open at the time, you can access those two lounges as well, if permitted by oneworld rules. But both lounges were closed in the morning, so I just stayed at the dnata lounge.

在報到的時候,有另外核發一張貴賓室邀請函,所以在門口直接把邀請函交給工作人員,就可以進入了。
There's a separate lounge invitation card issued at check-in, so I just handed that to the staff and was allowed entry.

整個貴賓室空間不算小,但也沒有太大,而且滿昏暗的。
While the lounge wasn't very small, I wouldn't call it spacious at all. It was also very dark inside.

不過值得肯定的是,每個座位附近都有方便使用的插座。對於現在的貴賓士來說,這點真的很重要。
But it's worth noting that they had easily accessible power outlets near every seat, which is a very important feature for modern-day lounges.

以簽約貴賓室來說,其實餐點不算太差,也有些免費的酒精飲料。
The food wasn't too bad for a contract lounge, and they even had some free wines and alcohol available.

另外也有些不同的冷熱食可以取用。當然比起航空公司貴賓室還是差了點,不過算是可以接受的。
There was a buffet at the back with a few cold and hot options. The selection was nothing compared to what's available in an airline lounge, but still quite acceptable.

因為在新加坡機場,安檢是在登機門進行。這時候不得不佩服國泰對於高階卡會員以及高艙等旅客的待遇,居然比新航在自家機場還好。新航在安檢隊伍完全不會有任何區隔,不過國泰在安檢處就有設立優先通道,開放商務艙以及卡客使用,直接大大加分。
Security is conducted at gates in Singapore Changi Airport, and this is where Cathay Pacific outshines Singapore Airlines in their ground service for premium customers. Singapore Airlines had absolutely no differentiation at security lines, while Cathay Pacific had a priority lane set up for business class and Marco Polo members. Please take note, Singapore Airlines.

當然登機時也是依照艙等安排,隊伍安排地非常清楚整齊。
And of course boarding lanes were set up accordingly as well. All the lines were laid out very clearly and orderly.

這趟班機使用的是長程商務艙座椅,比起上一段的區域型座椅真的舒服很多。
I was glad to see that we had the long-haul business class product on this flight, which was way more comfortable than the regional product I took to Singapore.

這天商務艙全滿,一個位子都沒有剩。只能選在中間座位。不過其實還是可以有不少隱私的,不會覺得和隔壁座位太近。對於單獨旅行的旅客來說是件好事,但如果是結伴同行的話,就會有點困擾了。
Business class was completely full on my flight, with every single seat taken. So I only had the option of sitting in one of the center seats. But I still had plenty of privacy, and didn't feel too close to my seatmate as well. This worked well for me as a solo passenger, but it wouldn't be so suitable for those travelling together.

一般來說這種反魚骨座位最大的問題就是腳部空間比較受限一點,這在國泰新的A350商務艙中有改善許多,之後會再專文介紹。
The downside of these reverse herringbone seats is that foot space is really limited. Cathay Pacific improved this on the A350, which I'll review in a separate post soon.

等大多數乘客坐定位之後,空服員就開始發送迎賓飲料。

達到飛航高度之後,會先提供飲料,搭配一些堅果。按照慣例,我一樣點了香檳跟國泰單月份特調「Oriental Breeze」。
After we reached cruising altitude, the meal service started with some drinks, along with some nuts as well. As usual, I ordered a glass of champagne and the signature drinks (for odd-numbered months) "Oriental Breeze."

接著就會上前菜跟沙拉,這時候也會再同時提供一次飲料。

前菜以帕爾瑪火腿為主,味道還不錯。
The appetizer was a prosciutto dish, which was quite tasty.

接著空服員一樣會將所有主餐都用推車直接推出來讓客人選擇,在新加坡航班上有推出叻沙,就點來嚐嚐看了。
Then they'd roll out the cart with all the main course options on it, so guests could choose what they want directly. A special Laksa dish was offered on this flight, so I chose to have that.

叻沙味道出乎意料地好,可能味道重的關係,很適合在高空中供應。
It tasted better than I expected. The strong flavor made it really suitable to enjoy in the air.

可能因為商務艙全滿的關係,整個服務的步驟是非常非常慢的。等到主菜上完,已經過了將近兩小時。不過空服員還是有抓空檔一直幫忙續杯飲料,或是詢問有沒有其他需求,所以雖然時間花得比較久,但不至於讓人覺得太過不耐。
Perhaps it was due to the full cabin, but service was extremely slow on this flight. It took almost two hours for the main course to be delivered. But all the flight attendants were kind and proactive in offering drink refills and asking if I wanted anything else. So despite the long wait, it didn't feel unbearable.

接著就以冰淇淋及熱飲作結,這次冰淇淋是夏季梅果口味,比較特殊。
Then some ice cream and hot drink were offered to finish off the meal. I had a summer berries and cream ice cream, which was a rather special flavor compared to the usual ones they offer.

等到吃完冰淇淋的時候,距離起飛已經超過兩個半小時,只剩不到一小時就要降落了。剩下的時間我就把座位放平,看著飛行資訊渡過剩下的時間。
It was already more than 2.5 hours after take-off when I finished by ice cream, and only less than one hour to landing. For the rest of the flight, I just reclined my seat and watched the airshow before we got ready for descent.
