從2013年底開始，所有的雅高集團白金卡會員，不論是否入住行政樓層，在諾富特都可以享有行政樓層待遇。所以我在到達飯店之後，就直奔十五樓的行政酒廊辦理入住手續，這樣就不用在大廳排隊等待了。

Starting from late-2013, all Accor Le Club platinum members receive executive lounge access at Novotel hotels regardless of their room type. So after arriving at the hotel, I went straight to the Premier Lounge on the 15th floor to check in.

當然在酒廊是不會有排隊辦入住這回事的，所有手續幾乎是馬上就完成了。剛好酒廊在下午有提供下午茶，所以我也就順便先在酒廊吃點東西、休息一下。

Naturally there was no such thing as a line at the lounge, and all formalities were completed in no time. I was just in time for afternoon tea as I checked in, so I stayed in the lounge for a bit and had some snacks.

其實下午茶的選擇不多，就只有簡單的茶點跟飲料而已，吃起來味道也很普通。

There weren't that many choices for afternoon tea except drinks and some light snacks, and I didn't find anything particularly tasty.

酒廊的空間算是剛好，雖然看起來不大，但是我每次造訪的時候人都不多，從來不會覺得擁擠。酒廊內除了主要的座位區之外，還有兩台電腦跟一間會議室可供使用。

The lounge was just the right size in my opinion. Even though it wasn't a big lounge, I never found it crowded as there were rarely more than a dozen people inside. Aside from the main seating and buffet area, there's also two iMac computers and a conference room available for use.

可能是因為行政樓層客滿的關係，我並沒有被升等到行政樓層，而是被分配到一般樓層的最高樓（十三樓）邊間。不過不同於香港喜來登的邊間，這裡的空間感覺並沒有比較大，也沒有多的窗戶。

Unfortunately I did not get upgraded to the Executive Premier Floor (perhaps it was full, I had no idea), but got assigned to a corner room on the highest standard floor (13th floor) instead. Compared to the Sheraton Hong Kong, the corner rooms here were no different from standard rooms. They did not have more space, and certainly did not have more windows.

如果繼續跟香港喜來登比較，那諾富特的浴室真的非常迷你。不過以香港的標準來說，還算是可以接受。比較讓人不懂的是，浴室和臥室間的窗戶雖然有百葉窗分隔，但是百葉窗卻是放在臥室這一側，無法從浴室關上，這樣的設計實在是讓人摸不透啊...

If you continue to compare the Novotel with the Sheraton Hong Kong, the bathroom in the Novotel was tiny. Although to be fair its acceptable in Hong Kong standards. What puzzled me the most was the blinds between the bedroom and bathroom was placed on the bedroom's side, so there's no way I could close it from the bathroom. The reason behind that design was beyond me.

浴室雖然小但是設備卻很新，而且狀況維持得很不錯。

The bathroom, although small, had relatively new equipment, and everything was in good condition.

沐浴備品依照慣例使用的是諾富特自家品牌，但我覺得還不錯。

The toiletries were Novotel's own brand, though I found them to be quite good.

臥室則繼續延續浴室的主題，那就是「小」，擺上家具之後可以活動的空間更少，要找到空間把行李箱攤開都很難。

The bedroom continued the theme of the bathroom, which is "small." Space was very limited especially with all the furniture. It was almost impossible to find a place big enough to open my luggage.

Mini Bar 有兩罐瓶裝水，還有一個轉接頭可以免費使用。至於其他要收費的就不用提了～

Two complimentary bottles of water and a fancy power adapter were available at the mini bar. I'll skip the rest of it as they are not free.

我特別喜歡諾富特在床邊會有一個小桌子，這樣就可以躺在床上用電腦，對於晚上回到飯店已經累慘的旅客來說，是非常貼心的設計。

I did love the fact that they had a small table/counter next to the bed, making it very easy to use my laptop in bed. That was a blessing especially to a tired tourist after a long day.

在床頭櫃上也有這樣的一個控制面板，可以控制整間房間的照明、空調跟鬧鐘，真的非常方便。只可惜沒有連窗簾都一起變成電動的。

On the other side of the bed was a control panel, from which you can control everything from the lighting, air conditioning, to the alarm clock. Too bad the curtains weren't part of it.

窗邊的躺椅也非常舒服，而且大小其實要當作單人床多睡一個人的話，其實也很剛好。

The daybed next to the window was super comfortable, and was just the right size for a third person to sleep in, if ever needed.

衣櫃則是位於浴室旁邊，和浴室共用一扇拉門。而對於衣櫃的評語就和浴室一樣只有一個字，「小」。

The closet was next to the bathroom, and thus shared a sliding door with it. Needless to say it was also tiny, to the point that I actually found it difficult to use.

因為這次預訂的價格是含早餐的，所以可以選擇到飯店的「品坊」餐廳或是行政酒廊吃早餐。至於如果單純入住行政樓層而未訂購早餐，我就不太確定能否到餐廳吃早餐了。

Since the rate I booked included breakfast, I get to choose between "The Square" restaurant and the lounge. I wasn't sure the same choice would be available had I booked a rate that did not include breakfast.

我大約在早上八點左右下樓到餐廳，這時候餐廳都還很空。

I went down to the restaurant around 8 am, which it was still very empty.

自助餐區其實不大，不過該有的中、西式早餐品項都還是有的。味道雖然不差，但也沒有特別突出。簡單來說就是很中規中矩的飯店早餐。

The buffet area wasn't huge, but had all the usual Chinese and Western breakfast options. None tasted bad but nothing tasted particularly good either. Simply put, it was a very standard and ordinary hotel breakfast.
