最初在知道要到台中的時候，對於住宿地點就一直在金典和亞緻兩者中間猶豫，但最後考量到亞緻較新，而且價格也較金典便宜一些，所以最後就選擇入住麗緻集團精心打造的 Hotel ONE 啦！
不過其實最後的臨門一腳還有另外一個因素！
At first I couldn't decide whether I should stay in Splendor Taichung or Hotel ONE. But after considering that it was more modern and cheaper than Splendor, I chose to stay in Hotel ONE.
BUT, there's another reason.
是的！就是這張超大的辦公桌！
雖然大部分的功能對於一般人來說可能根本用不到，不過這麼氣派的設備就是給人一種董事長的爽感阿！！！
This is it! I wanted to experience this massive desk. Even though most of the features are rather useless for a one-night stay. I just wanted to use this desk and feel like a powerful CEO who can control the world with one click.
如果自己攜帶筆電的話，不但可以連接上37吋的液晶電視，還可以連接房內的5.1聲道環繞音響，連在浴室都可以聽音樂唷！
If you bring your own laptop, not only can you connect it to the 37-inch screen, you can also connect it to the stereo system throughout the room and enjoy some music in the bathroom!
飯店還特別附上了印表機和幾張白紙，如果臨時有列印需求也不用跑到櫃檯，算是非常貼心的設備。不過幾張紙放在那邊就給人不用白不用的歐巴桑心態啊XD
There's also an in-room printer and some complimentary paper, just in case you have some urgent need to print something out. Even though I needed nothing, I printed something anyway, just for the sake of using the printer.
呃...回歸正題好了。
當天大約中午就提早到了飯店，雖然離規定的 check-in 時間還差非常多，但櫃檯服務人員還是盡快安排讓我入住，這點相當加分！過去就遇到有些飯店死守著規定時間，還要讓人在 Lobby 枯坐著，當下給人的感受就會很不好。
在辦完手續之後，就有服務人員「親自」帶領到客房，在電梯裡的時候還會解說各樓層（例如餐廳、健身房的樓層和使用規定等等），進了房間之後也會帶客人走一圈，解釋那個超大辦公桌的各種功能等等。從這邊就可以看出平常飯店訓練有素，而且完全展現出麗緻一貫注重服務的特色。
等到服務人員離開時就是拍照時間啦！
I arrived at around noon, which was way before check-in time. The room wasn't ready yet but they do try to make it available as soon as possible. It's a good gesture comparing to some other hotels who insists on sticking to the official check-in time.
After all the procedures are done, one of the hotel staffs personally escorted me to the room and gave me a quick tour, including a lesson on how to navigate the multiple high-tech functions. All the staffs are friendly but not overly intrusive.
After the tour is over, it's picture time!
臥室篇 Bedroom
剛進房時窗簾是拉起來的，燈光稍嫌有些陰暗。不過拉開窗簾之後完全就是另一個新天地啊！
The curtains were all closed when I first entered the room, making the room quite dark. But after they are opened, there's more than sufficient lighting.
雖然天氣不是很好，但從窗戶看出去的 view 還是非常壯觀！
這次入住時就有事先跟飯店要求要高樓層的房間，也推薦大家選擇高樓層喔，畢竟都住到這種摩天大樓型的飯店了，當然要有 view 才爽啊！！！
The view was fantastic despite the bad weather in Taichung. I would advise everyone to ask for a room on higher levels to enjoy the view.
在窗邊有一個簡單的休憩空間，但相當讓人不解的是沙發居然是背向窗戶的！既然叫做景緻客房，不就應該讓人可以坐著欣賞風景嗎？
大家一定想說「白癡喔沙發當然是面向電視的啊」，但也沒有喔～電視在辦公桌上方！這裡的沙發面向床！！我坐著的時候你要我看床幹嘛啊@@百思不解耶！
There's also a seating area next to the windows. The funny thing is that they are not facing the windows, and actually facing the bed. Aren't you supposed to let people enjoy the view when sitting there?
It would make sense if the seats are facing the TV, but no, the television is next to the seating area, so all you see is the bed. This arrangement was quite a mystery to me.
迎賓水果 welcome fruit
水果籃個人認為相當沒有誠意，但吃起來還不錯所以就原諒他們好了。
辦公桌的抽屜裡也有附上一些零食，但當然是要錢的囉～
至於文具的部分真的是相當齊全，畢竟飯店本身還是走商務路線，在服務商務客的需求上就非常周全而且貼心。
我自己也非常喜歡抽屜的皮革裝飾，簡單的巧思替冷冰冰的辦公桌增添了一些色彩，看起來也有特別溫暖的感覺～
The fruit basket was quite minimal, they could've done better. There's also some over-priced snacks in the mini bar as usual.
The desk was extremely well-equipped with everything a business traveler might need. You can see that they're trying everything to target business travelers. I love that they use leather at the edges of the desk, making it much warmer and more modern than a average work desk.
浴室篇 Bathroom
浴室同樣有著大片的落地窗，在白天相當明亮。整體空間的乾濕分離設計也做得非常好，不怕洗完澡會把整間浴室都弄得濕濕的。
最特別的是在浴室也有一台小電視，設計成可以轉向，所以不論是在上廁所或是在浴室都可以使用。但個人使用經驗是洗澡時，玻璃門上的水氣就會完全阻擋視線了。所以想要邊泡澡邊看電視的朋友們可能就要把浴室門打開囉。
The bathroom is also equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing great natural lighting during the day and great views during the night. They also did a great job separating the shower/tub and the rest of the bathroom.
They also had a small television in the bathroom so you can enjoy even when having a bath; but you'll have to leave the door open, otherwise you won't be able to see anything.
洗手台的設計其實有待加強。因為整個設計得太淺，只要水流太強就會一直往外濺，最後弄得整個洗手台都濕濕的...
備品則是放在旁邊抽屜，算是相當基本所以也沒什麼特別好拍的。
Not a great design when it comes to the sink though. It's too shallow so there's water everywhere after I used the sink.
The amenities are quite basic considering it's a five-star hotel.
馬桶是使用免治馬桶（話說近年新開的飯店好像都有採用），如果是冬天入住的話，用這免治馬桶真的是會用到感動落淚啊！！！
They have those Japanese shower toilets installed (and heated seats!).
浴缸空間不小，就算兩個人下去泡都孩綽綽有餘。再搭配上大片的落地窗，如果夜晚能夠一邊泡澡一邊欣賞夜景，應該會是一件相當享受的事情！
The tub has quite enough room for two. And the windows offer a great view of the city, making it quite an experience when taking a bath.
住在景緻客房的缺點就是距離電梯太近，再加上飯店隔音做得並不好，常常電梯的運轉聲加上來來往往客人的交談都會顯得有些吵雜。但可以放些音樂（或開電視），就可以把這些聲音蓋過去了。
What's not so great about staying in the corner room is that it's too close to the elevators. So you always here the elevators running and the other guest running around. The hotel didn't do a good job when it comes to sound-proofing. But turning on the television or playing some music should be enough to get rid of those noises.
結語 Final Words
身處高樓是 Hotel ONE 的一大優勢，客房內的 view 絕對是台中第一，對於想要飽覽台中景緻的旅客，景緻客房會是非常好的選擇。
但整體而言 Hotel ONE 還是比較適合商務客入住，設備上也都是依照商務旅客的需求在做規劃，像是超大辦公桌、印表機等等。因為偏向商務旅館，所以飯店設施也比一般旅館來得少。如果是想要全家入住或是休閒度假的，應該可以有更好的地方可以入住。
The view you get in Hotel ONE is unrivaled in Taichung. If you're looking for a great view, this is the right place. But when it comes to hotel amenities and facilities, it's still more suitable for business travel. If you're planning on some leisure travel or spending some time with your family, there's some other places that are more suitable.
